There is already an update out for this The Elder Scrolls V Skyrim Update 1-RazorDOX

Fixes some minor stability and quest progression issues.

I was expecting a huge size (maybe 20gig) for this beauty. Aside the hype I read on IGN that this game will keep on generating quests you can never complete it. It's the "never ending" Word!!!

I've played it since the first and I must say, it's not really all that exceptional. For those expecting the greatest mindblowing experience (which it seems like they do) will be sorta disappointed. That being said it's still decent. Just annoys me they said they 'reworked' the engine and it feels pretty much like Oblivion. So it's Oblivion 1.5. I suppose I shouldn't of expected so much but they tried to make it sound like a whole new experience when infact it's a old experience with some newish things to it.

Also the quests that keep generating are simple. Bounties, heist missions.etc. Still nice to know there is always more missions to do if you need the gold though.

Tsk, tsk, tsk. I never said the game was terrible. If you like Oblivion, you'll like Skyrim. That being said the game is horribly buggy and honestly they made the release date too soon (Which is odd because the game has been in development how long now?) I've had several times where an enemy would do a force barrier move that would push me out of boundaries, making me stuck. I've also had important NPC flat out ignore me because they were scared since I killed a dragon near them, I waited, rested, did other quests and they still ignored me. Also the instant kill animation is random, so you'll randomly be swinging and then BAM it'll go into a 3rd person view, which if you're in a close area the camera is fucked up to the point you can't even see what is going on, on top of that the animations look pathetic (especially on the dragons). This whole instant kill wouldn't be too bad if they give you the option to do it rather than it just happens whenever the fuck it feels like it.

So do I feel like a badass because I played it early? No, it's a video game and unlike you (I can only assume this because you think people can feel this way from playing a game) I do realize it's just a game, while they are entertaining if I need to use videogames to make me feel important or good then I should probably find new things to occupy my time or jump off a cliff from the lack of having a life.

I figured calling it Oblivion 1.5 people would grasp the fact that i'm practically calling it Oblivion (So I assumed people would make the assumption if you like Oblivion you'll like Skyrim). Simple misunderstanding is all.

I couldn't agree more with Dark Scyth ... I still wait for my pc pre-order to arrive but it did not stopped me to grab this for the 360 and the pc.
Certainly not the mind-blowing game I was expecting. It is good and worths it's money but meh...
On the 360 I did not like the controls that much and was drooling for the pc version thinking that mouse would be awesome... but I was kinda wrong... the control scheme seems to be a hack of gamepad mode hacked to mouse/keyboard , another meh for me.
3rd person view also seems hacked in the game, meh again :amused:
Battle feels kind of random to me , but that could be because I am spoiled from DarkSouls... is there even a way to lock on a target? Haven't really looked for it in the 40mins I played it
GFX are fine and I get a constant 60fps everywhere with a 2600k/560ti @1920x1200 so no complains there :)

I won't lie, first I am going to get the crap out of Dark Souls and it's online part and then move to this or anything else LOL

i been playing it on ps3 its sick i love it iv played oblivion fallout 3 fallout new vegas morrowind etc and this feels abit more like morrowind then oblivion it does not hold you hand as much as other bethseda games from what i have seen in the first few hours of playing it.

i did not like the new menu system at first until i got used to it and now its easy to use just takes awhile for you to get used to it and its quirky ways.

The graphics seem a bit low resolution but then the detail is much higher and it is open world after all what are people expecting.

just so you know my gaming type i finished demon souls ages ago but dark souls did not do it for me and i will give it another go as one time i hated oblivion and now i love it so....

I'm gonna get this on PC. After checking out the graphics on YouTube. I only want this game cause it looks so clean and high end. ;)
