Ok, so you performed a Rebuild Database from the Recovery Menu or something happened to your xregistry.sys to cause that problem that whenever you try to load your save games, it says you aren't the owner of the data or your games force close because there's a trophy error. If you're on OFW, to fix this, all you have to do it sign-in to PSN. If you never had a PSN ID, then this shouldn't concern you. NOTE: this might not work for everyone, but this is usually the fix for this problem.
Prerequisites:
PS3 with CFW...duh
Option 1: File Manager (i.e. Comegenies's, multiMAN)
Option 1: Flash Drive formatted to FAT/FAT32 with 100kb free space
Option 2: FTP Server (i.e. multiMAN, Blackb0x)
Option 2: FTP Client (i.e. Filezilla, FlashXP)
xRegistry Editor 245
YOUR xregistry.sys. (I say yours because it's just easier using yours instead of having to restart with someone else's.)
Tutorial
This is a crude tutorial but it'll fix the problems. I'll tidy everything up as days go by.
The xRegistry Editor attachment is for Windows, but there's also a Linux version which I'll upload later. Or you could just use Wine for Linux with the exe or Mono for Mac.
Open the xregistry.sys using xRegistry Editor
246
As you can see, where it says <userid>, that'll be that long number with a lot of zeros and ending with a positive integer like this: 000000002. Each user name is tied to a userid. Hopefully your User on the PS3 hasn't changed yet. If so, look for this setting "/setting/user/<userid>/account/utf8name", note the <userid> and make sure the account name on the right side of the program is the User tied to the save data. The setting "/setting/user/<userid>/account/utf8name" will be located higher than the PSN accounts in the picture above.
Look for these sets of headers. They will be right next to each other.

Now, on to the picture here 247, make sure the <userid> is the same here as the one with the setting "/setting/user/<userid>/account/utf8name". Everything that you edit here is decrypted so type exactly as you know.
Now for this tutorial, the PSN ID is PSN_User, so whatever your PSN ID is, put it in the setting "/setting/user/<userid>/npaccount/accountid"
For the setting "/setting/user/<userid>/npaccount/loginid" put your email address. I know it says loginid but you use your email address to sign in. For this tutorial, the email address is psn_email@domain.com. So whatever the email address you used to register, put it in there.
For the setting "/setting/user/<userid>/npaccount/password" put the password you used to register the account, or if you changed it, put the new password in here. No, this is not how you change your PSN password either. But since you won't be connecting to PSN, I don't think if this setting is important at the moment. For this tutorial, the password used was p455w0rd4tut9r14l, so put your password to the right of this setting. It's plain text so you will see your password.
Also, you'd want to enable the account by changing the value 0 to 1 in the setting "/setting/user/<userid>/account/enable" If it's blank, put a 1 in there. If it's 0, change it to 1.
Save the new xregistry.sys to somewhere on your computer. Use either a file manager or FTP to put the new xregistry.sys in /dev_flash2/etc/ so it'll look like this /dev_flash2/etc/xregistry.sys
When it finishes the transfer (which shouldn't take more than a second), reboot the PS3, pick your user if you have more than one. Load the game and it should work and load your save data.
