PS3 (fat) fan current pull

Hi guys. First time here so please be gentle..
Just offered to repair my nephew's fat PS3 (never seen one before getting this one) and saw the fan not running at all. Dismantling I found a component FB4001 burned up in the +12v line to the fan next to the fan connector. I see that is it a Ferrite Bead in a 1608 SMD package but can't find the current rating listed in the schematics or parts listings in the service manual I have.
Does anyone out there know the current rating of the Ferrite Bead? I was thining a 500mA would be sufficient but don't want to risk putting the whole thing back together to find it burns up again.
Also on that note - the fan seems to spin nice and freely by hand and there are no shorts on the 3 leads so can't say for sure why thie FB blew up in the first place - so it's a case of replacing it and seeing if it fixes the fan problem.

Yes but the fan has a 2.2Amp rating and I cannot believe that the current draw at start up or at full RPM will be anything near that. Never mind - I'll bulid a modulator and spin it up and measure the actual drawn current. Just thought I'd ask to save a little time.

Yes, no worries. Ordered a 2.5Amp rated ferrite bead and fitted that earlier today. Can rerport that the unit is completely fixed. Been running for 8 hours - fan running normally - no errors. So it looks like the 4p Ferrite Bead from farmell fixed the unit. Oh how my nephew is pleased he will now have a spare PS3.
