Sketch Fight v0.1

ThatOtherPerson has released another neat 'homebrew' game on his blog ThatOtherDev, this one is called Sketch Fight!

This is a first version of something I have put together for the soon closing Scenery Beta 2011 (http://www.scenebeta.com/noticia/the-scenery-beta-2011-international-homebrew-showcase) international homebrew showcase.

Sketch Fight is a simple two player fighting game with crudely done hand drawn graphics that are intended to look like something a person would doodle when trying to cope with the mind numbing repetition and tedium that is school.

I only have one PS3 controller at the moment so I haven’t been able to test it properly… Let me know if it isn’t controlling correctly.

PS3 controls:

* Left directional button = Move left
* Right directional button = Move right
* Down directional button = Move crouch
* X button = Jump
* Square button = punch
* Circle button = kick


As usual like most of his releases it is v0.1, and sadly this one has controller issues with two players! -- Oh'well, still a neat little game!

Apparently when a second controller is connected both controllers effect both players. So it is pretty much unplayable. I’ll probably buy a second controller sometime soon so that I can test multiplayer games myself.

Sorry. I probably shouldn't have posted it until I had confirmed it was functional. I had emailed an even earlier build to a few people to check if it was working but that was a couple days ago and none of them responded.

have to restart my ps3 and plug the usb controller issue after lauching the pkg under rebug 3.55.2.
Others games were fine and have a lot of fun with cascad or don t get crushed.
