Unfortunately im on a slim 30XX (i believe, its either that or 31XX) and i believe that i would have to solder to install it to the console, i have a basic knowledge with soldering and have only done it once before (burnt myself three times -_-) but my main question is would a beginner be able to easily install and uninstall the product?

I also would like to know how the usb support works, would the female usb come out of the case (like 3k3y) or does it make use of the PS#'s original usb connectors. I only ask because i have not come across any true documentation yet.

Release dates seem to come and go for this device with no real updates, photos or specs like the official cobra odde web site said they would release. I'm starting to get the feeling that this won't be released or if it is it won't have the functionality originally promised.
