So I am trying to load up some of my PC Engine CD games using RetroARCH but I have a feeling they don't work in the emulator. Problem is that I can't find any clear cut info about this. I have tried using BIN/CUE images I converted from my Trurip dumps of the games in BIN/CUE format. Then I also ripped the disc with Turbo Rip in 2048 "cooked" ISO images with WAV files and converted the WAV to 192kbps MP3's in CBR and VBR all three (ISO w/ either VBR MP3, CBE MP3, or WAV fie variants) have proper cue sheets to reflect changes between audio formats and post gap data. while keeping the ISO as a standard compliant format.

When those failed I tried re-ripping with CDRWin to BIN/CUE instead of working with a mounted Trurip image, only reason I did this is because that app rips all proper sub-channels and works around protections while producing a true 1:1 image of the disc something most game ripping tools simply can't do. Anyhow I am tired of banging my head against the wall and thought it was time to give up and do what I truly try to avoid and ask a question for support to see if this was even possible and if so how as i would love to play these bad boys without the use of composite.

RetroARCH has become my haven to play my older stuff now. I have moved my Genesis "Trio Power Tower" with SCART to component adapter (unless it is a 32X game till support is implemented, what a glorious day that will be to play 32X games without the interference that occurs with official hardware due to all the cables used to connect and power my Genesis, Sega CD, 32X, and Everdrive MD" and moved it into thekids room as she has my old WEGA 36" CRT. I have even put away my 240p component SNES & and scaler as RetroARCH plays more games then my cart which only has support for games with no special chips except for the DSP-1.

Now I am just hoping I can put my precious DUO-RX away but the only thing holding me back is not being able to play my Dracula X, Spriggan, Steam Hearts, and the rest of the great library of PCE-CD SHMUP's and arcade games. Anyhow felling a little "in the spirit of the holidays" as you can tell by my babbling as this has driven me to the point I needed to chill a little so any help would be great. And I would also be a little less stressed with a lot more room in my game room I have been stuffed into once we had a child :-) Trying to make it PS3 slim, 360s, and my Sega Dreamcast & Saturn only. As due to the recent happenings in the PS3 scene and this sweet app second only to mM I no longer need to switch power and AV cables, and to see my PC Engine CD games in HD like my carts is a dream come true.

Thanks in advance to anyone that helps but especially the entire PS3 DEV's as they have made this scene a place fun to be again as well as bringing us top quality apps, emulators, and new advancements in this scene. From Twin Aphex, Pete_UK, DeanK, RogerO, Team Rebug, flatz, Estwald (here looking at you Hermes as I still think you are Mirala Tijera) and all the other numerous devs I want to say thanks for either sticking around or pickup where the others left off as it was a mess for a while now it issomething to marvel at once again.
