Hej.

GOOGLE TRANSLATE FROM SWEDISH TO ENGLISH: Hello. I want to explain to the world, a way to install CFW from any OFW, and from the model of PS3. I must remain anonymous because my team discovered this method, but they do not want to publish for now. They used a simple way, discovered by CapetLeVrai. They hide a PUP file of CFW (4.30 rebug or Roogero for example) in an ISO of a PSP game, and then they follow the procedure for aldo tools to transform this into a package installed on CFW and transfer it to the procedure of CapetLeVrai in OFW , and when he runs it. Magically, start installing the CFW, and then you will have a PS3 with CFW installed.
Please, do not consider it as a scam. Try it!

So tired of looking at that "Mini's" logo when you boot your new PSP games? Well so am I so I went about changing it to a PSP logo.

1~ First you need a image that is 480x272 pixels and must be on a black background and named properly as minis_logo.png in order to work. Here is the one I am currently using.

And other user created logo's

Just right click on image and save if you choose to use this one.

2~ Copy your new image on to your flash drive or FTP to system, then go into mM (or any app that will mount your dev_flash) once the flash has been mounted use mMOS to go to the location of the current logo and backup it up just in case you want to revert or just in case you lose it you can find it HERE for good measure.

The file you are looking for is located here.

dev_blind\pspemu\flash0\logo\minis_logo.png

Once you have backed up your current logo simply overwrite the old one with your new logo.

3~Reboot your PS3 and try a PSP game and check out your new logo, if you ever want to change or revert simply follow the steps again.

setup is teensy 2.0++ on nor console kte-001, with 4volt battery running teensy and atx powering board running at 2volts with 2 step down diodes. I tried atx power at 3.3volts and no chip id ever.

I can get chip id to read Spansion, but it says unknown type, just a string like 01e45, by powering ps3 with 3.3volts for about 30 seconds, then disconnecting pos lead, and then powering teensy with battery. Any other setup, yields unknown chip id and type.

tried soldered and solderless 360clip with same results

dump is not good. 00s are 10% but ffs are only 5% and i get a lot of repeating digits mixed up between what looks like good data.

I get tristate low and chip enable low, all others are high in latest norway

any help would be appreciated

would a resistor trick help to pullup the lines and how would i do that

thanks in advance

Hey guys,
here is what i did to play a ps2 game from an external usb device

1) Update MM to the latest build
2) Download and install gamedata5 via MM
3) Download and install react psn (or use aldos tools rap2rif to activate your raps)
4) For react psn create a folder called "exdata" in the root dir of a fat32 usb device and put the rap file in there
5) Create a user profile called "aa" and execute react psn from there, while keeping X button pressed ..
5a) If you already converted your rap files to rif just copy them to the exdata folder of your user profile (devhdd0/home/user/00000000..X/exdata)
6) Now execute gamedata5 to get into [usb] mode and install the ps2 game pkg via "install package files"
7) Now start the game in [usb] mode from xmb (playstation 2 folder)
8) profit xxx

tested with dirt track devils and a few other games ..
