I was wondering if there is anyone in the Modesto area, or in surrounding cities, who would be willing to help me downgrade my PS3 for me. I'd like to get the 3K3Y but I don't see the need if I also have to buy a E3 Flasher as well just to get the PS3 code needed to run the 3K3Y. I'd go for the Cobra ODE but it seems like there could be a chance that it could be fake (to some). I would be more than willing to compensate for the usage of the equipment provided and time spent. Hopefully I posted in the correct thread. If I have not, I apologize. Thank you to anyone who is of any help or gives useful information. =)

Hello everyone! So... I've got an OFW (4.xx, can't remember which one exactly) PS3 with a problem: anytime I turn it on, it tries to install the latest fw (4.41), but it fails at 99% and gives me back error 8002f14. I discovered it means that it's looking for the bd reader, but can't find it: in fact, the board linked to the reader doesn't work. This happens anytime I turn it on:it tries to update the fw, it fails, and I must turn the ps3 off, and I can't get out of this loop!

So, I was wondering... if I buy a flasher (progskeet, e3, teensy,...), could I solve this problem somehow? I don't know, maybe I could downgrade it to a cfw that doesn't require the bd-r to be installed (I've found some of them, and this ps3 was modified once, so I know for sure that I can downgrade it), or you could suggest me some other solution... I don't know that much about flashers, can somebody give me any more info? Thank you!

P.S.: this play is a PHAT CECHC04, with NAND flash. And I don't have any kind of dump of the NAND.

Hi.

I get a black screen now, after process of installing reactpsn and am stuck in factory service mode.

console is sem-001 fat ps3 with 2 samsung nands.

I have a multiman dump prior to this reactpsn problem.

I used progskeet 1.2 to read first nand and got 3 dumps that were identical in hex editor.

I used teensy 2.0++ to read second nand with solderless 360 clip. I got 2 identical dumps in nandway5

I used flowrebuilder, but my values are wrong. I get 1.9% for 00s which is good, but i get 16% for FFs which needs to be above 18% according to ps3devwiki site. I applied 3.55 patch files in progskeet and FFs still low. I get 2 bad blocks identified in nand0

Question ONE is, if i reflash these values, will i get a permanent brick as stated if values arent validated.

Question TWO, I know multiman dump doesnt include boot loader and full nand, but can i use it to get better nand values. How do i do that, if it is possible. what offsets can be added to multiman dump to yield a perfect nand.

Question THREE, if i got identical nand0 reads with progskeet, and identical nand1 reads with teensy, are these not accurate?

Thanks in advance.

Teensy 2.0++ help.

I require some help with Teensy 2.0++ and downgrade

setup is teensy 2.0++ on nor console kte-001, with 4volt battery running teensy and atx powering board running at 2volts with 2 step down diodes. I tried atx power at 3.3volts and no chip id ever.

I can get chip id to read Spansion, but it says unknown type, just a string like 01e45, by powering ps3 with 3.3volts for about 30 seconds, then disconnecting positive lead, and then powering teensy with battery. Any other setup, yields unknown chip id and type.

tried soldered and solderless 360clip with same results

dump is not good. 00s are 10% but ffs are only 5% and i get a lot of repeating digits mixed up between what looks like good data.

I get tristate low and chip enable low, all others are high in latest norway

any help would be appreciated

would a resistor trick help to pullup the lines and how would i do that

thanks in advance
