Well better late than never. TODAY my Matrix Nand Flasher turned up at my door LOL. O well at least I can keep it for emergencies or if I ever need to Glitch another Box. But hey, sliver lining, at least the Flasher works
SUCCESS !!! Finally Everything has been sorted and have my beautiful Slim RGH. Had a couple problems getting FSD to start on boot but managed to jimmy in my old Phat HDD in and all is well. Turned the fans up to full just to be safe but may turn them down to 70/80% at a later date. The Console boots are quite consistent too (anywhere from 10 to 25 secs, which is nice) and that's the tale of my RGH. LOL
Well Good news/Bad news scenario. Good news being the Matrix Glitcher v2 turned up Saturday but the USB Flasher didn't. I waited till today for it to turn up but of course it didn't. Well Bollocks. But fear not, I decided to use my olde Jtag cable instead. So I cranked up the Radio got the Soldering iron out of the man draw and got to work lol Now the Cable is soldered and doing it's job reading the Nand. (3x Nand at 40 mins a pop = AGES) MAN I wish the USB Nand Dumper turned up. O well hey ho.
Well just finished ordering the chip's I'm going to be using. A Matrix Glitcher v2 from Yoyobase (not my first choice but Money's tight ATM) and a Matrix Nand Flasher from Dealxtreme. (a bit worried about this one, I've heard conflicting reports that some of these flasher's from DX aren't Programmed or are in some way defective. So fingers Crossed I get a Working chip) So in 7 - 10 working days, We'll see what we will see.
Just undressed my future RGH and my does she look purdy Solder points do look alot smaller in person tho But since I haven't got my Coolrunner or Matrix Nand Flasher yet, the games cant really begin and had to dress her up again. Although the fan was a bit dusty so at least I can argue I had a reason to open her up.
Cant wait to get my RGH gubins so I can finally get my Soldering Iron out of the Man Draw Rest in peace poor JTAG, you have served your master well.
No probs mate I love the Xbox, and still use it on a daily basis and plan on using it for a LONG while yet. When I get a spare minute I'll put it on and have a try. Thanks for posting
