Cobra USB traffic dumped

Hansi famous for being one of the first to dump the costly PSDowngrade dongle, has now turned his sights onto the Cobra USB device!

Cobra USB dongle arrived today, thank you VERY much goes to span from http://www.psx-scene.com who donated a dongle to me!

(let me know if you need it back, or I´ll keep it if there is a need to scan again if there is any updates)

We upgraded the Cobra to v2.0 and booted a 3.41 phat ps3 with the Beagle 480 USB protocol analyzer attached between the Cobra and the PS3.

The resulting data file is attached.

I've been following this closely since the dongle came out. Go hansi. Your the man. This is big for all of us.

Wasn't jaicrab working on this as well? Anyone heard from him on progress? Think he had the dump already, not 100%.

Just need a .pkg to do the same function or deliver the same payload.

its so excyting to see progress! I hope someday we'll be abble to install linux in a complete easy to use with GUI setup! i couldnt pass from hdd region sh script...

I've seen your name before sabin1981, from PSX-Scene i presume? I've got about 6 till 10 dongles left if you're interested.

Yeah, I'm the angry one from PSX Thanks for the offer, I appreciate it =) Guess now it's just a waiting game to see what happens and who puts out a usable product first. I still feel bad for Cobra though, they pulled off something nobody else had the talent to do - though there are some that claim the talent but lacked the desire *shrug* I really do think Cobra have earned their money with this, so I hope people continue to buy the device and for Cobra to continue development.

Yea i can agree with you sabin but then again all this came from psjailbreak and even though the price was too big for alot of us we wouldnt be where we are now. So in a way i feel like they should have got a share too, am i making sence?

But i think we will see some good things very soon, cant wait.

Feel relax about dongles, same old team are under the cobra and others dongles.
They already make money enough , don t need to worry for them.
And not only them, but also people working with them, easy to check who give them service mode+downgrade
