Prince of Persia Updated! (Better Graphics)

Well, I got a little bored tonight and decided to go for something a bit different. Here's a small treat to you guys.

The classic Prince of Persia with updated backgrounds and characters.

I want to say that I do not take credit in anyway for the enhanced graphics, these belong to the guys at Princed who made an incredible work in this department. I did put them in the game permanently and compiled the PKG though.

I also want to say that I ran into A LOT of bugs when doing this. I think I managed to fix them but should you find anything that went over my gaze please let me know. Also you're gonna have to tinker a bit with the mappings if you want to play with a keyboard (for whatever reason...) however it works just fine with the controller. Also, this release will work 100% fine in the PC using Dosbox, it's the PS3 that gave me issues... so I had to do a lot of trial and error before I got it down.

With all this said, here are some screenshots and of course, the link to download it.

Mr.Goodfrag did have tutorial on ex-scene, But after all the drama the tread was deleted.

I did release quite a few PKGs myself, but my posts seem to have been deleted along with the thread
Check out this thread as it seems to have most of my releases included in it, but I am unsure if the links are still active.

If I find a copy of his tutorial, i'll post a link.

I'd like to add a couple of things to that tutorial.

-Make_Self_NPDRM might give an error on Windows Vista/7, this doesn't matter at all, just let the software finish and you'll have a fully functional PKG.

-To make a SND0.AT3 Properly You're gonna need Goldwave 5.54 and the AT3 Codec

    http://www.free-codecs.com/sony_atra...c_download.htm.

-If you're on Vista/7 install the AT3 codec and then use this reg file.

    http://www.mediafire.com/?jnrffzy27crahro

-Restart your PC, after you've done that. Open your sound in Goldwave, then save as a .wav with the ATRAC3 attribute (It's at the very end of the list, pick which one of the three you want, it doesn't matter).

-Reopen the .wav file in Goldwave and go into Effects>Pitch and on "Scale (%)" set it exactly to 91.5.

-Save and then rename your Sound.wav to SND0.AT3 (Remember to uncheck "Hide extensions for known file types" on the "Folder Options", do it by pressing the alt key on any folder and then going on Tools>Folder options>View).

-Now take it to your game folder, compile the PKG and it should sound at the right pitch/speed on the PS3.

Thanks Neo, This will help save people a lot of time. Took me a few hours to get my packages exactly how I wanted them!
