How to Dump a PSX game
    1. First pop in your favorite ps1 game and download and install CloneCD, launch the program and select “Read to Image” which is the first button.

    2. Now select your cd drive and choose “Game CD” but don’t click next yet.

    3. Right click on game cd and choose edit. select 2x for the speed (or the lowest yours can go) you can leave the rest default.

    4. Now select next and check “Cue-sheet” then select ok.

    5. Your game should now be dumping.

How to Burn a PSX game

Lol I like how you said to pick the lowest speed for CloneCD but you're dumping 739 kb/s. But nice tutorial.

    Good job.

I use the OLD CloneCD for ripping and burning PS1 games. Hell, I even have an OLD 4x CD burner that I use on and IDE to USB converter for it. Works perfectly on MAX read and write. Make sure your media isn't crap.

I'm using IMG Burn on max speed with crappy Poundland CD's. lol
Iv'e only had issues with one game and that was True Pinball but I think that was a bad dump.
I would confirm but I haven't got anymore blank cd's atm. Has anybody tried True Pinball? and does it work for you?

    Thanks

I've been using Nero (yes I haven't got around to installing ImgBurn) and I've been using Verbatim/unknown-branded CD-RWs & TDK CD-Rs and no problems so far.

My Burner doesn't recognise the game?

Hi, new to the forum, I have tried Alcohol 120 and your clone cd tutorial, but my dvd burner doesn't see the disk

I have tried all the tutorials, I put the disk currently wanting to burn MW3

I put the disk in then load up alcohol 120 then click add image, but nothing comes up its not reading anything, unlike if i put a movie in it sees the movie straight away? do I have to buy a blu ray dvd burner, I have seen on other tutorials I just need a basic burner which i have.

pulling my hair out, I mean I go to add the image theres no image, the start button wont come up on Alcohol because obviously it sees there is no disk there,

do i have to buy a blu ray dvd burner?

    ?

Dude seriously, will you stop spamming threads, posts of this nature and actually read the forums?

YOU CANNOT BURN AND PLAY PS3 GAMES ON ANY PS3. The Chinese are able to do it because they use a pressing machine like I said below.
. It's impossible unless you have a press machine like Gary said in your other thread. It's impossible, you can't do it, so stop trying. Likewise You need a far bigger disc media then a simple CD. You would need at a minimum DVD or DL-DVD depending on the games. Plus Sony exclusive games require BD. Again unless you have a pressing machine (which is extremely expensive I would imagine in the neighborhood of 2-3 grand or more if you can even find one) your never gonna do it.

the only games you can burn and get working on a PS3 are PS1 and PS2 backups IIRC. That's it. I may be wrong about PS2. But I'm sure on PS1 games.

If PS3 games were easy or even doable by anyone except people in possession of a pressing machine, don't you think there would be tutorials all over the net? Likewise do you honestly think that you would see people all over the net say it's impossible? No you wouldn't.

@The OP - I sincerely apologize m8 for cluttering your thread but I wanted to nip this in the butt as he's done put this up a good three times now. Gary locked his previous thread and told him to go back to PS3hax.net with the thread he created there, now he's doing it here.
