yea i started reading thru all the links for 3.56 downgrade and no luck there... now im trying to find a link for how to solder e3 flasher on fat ps3 and theres nothing but tutorials for slims...
You might try simply just dropping the PARADOX files into the game directory without changing anything. I did this with both Ratchet and Clank and RAGE and in both cases, the games worked flawlessly, despite using a USA release with the EUR eboot fixes from PARADOX.
Obviously people dont read and like posting a solution that's already posted.

Help is always welcome, it's a forum Problem is when people ask 20 times the same thing, but 20 people giving a solution, it's the spirit of this community

Free version for downgrade from 3.56???? I don't remember any Uhm.
As said, and you tried, eboot are 99% region free. No need to use param.sfo , make MM change it. Param.sfo can be useful if your system is spoofed and MM doens't change it. At worst, can come handy. But 3.55-dongle is not spoofed. So..
Ok, I did as you said and AC, NFS and HP work perfectly. DBZ doesn't work because when I see loading screen it stucks. I have BLES version but the game loads in english, so I think it's not region free.
Uhm. I have DBZ. I'll try tomorrow if loads other language. Deep night here

It's just rather annoying and clutters the feed. If you agree with someone's solution to add more validity to the solution that's one thing, but to completely type the same thing again in different words is a bit redundant (especially if it's several minutes/hours later). Now I'm cluttering the thread by having to explain myself.

Well it is region free just not MRTC (multiregional) meaning it has a bunch of languages. It wouldn't boot EU from a US eboot if it wasn't region free. But to avoid things like these I left RF off the compatibility list and kept it as US. But sometimes multiregional and region free are used interchangeably (when in fact region free should play any region and multiregion more than one region). What language do you need it in anyway? Obviously you have a decent grasp of English as you post on this forum. Region free and multi region however don't mean every language in the world is on the DVD/BluRay or even the lingua franca languages. It just means it can play on a console with that/those regions.
I can play some japanese games on my US console but the menus arent in english (depends on the game).

Skyrim 1.2 update for TB was awesome!
Any chance that guys at PARADOX release patch for another pretty buggy game - Dark Souls 1.05 update (IT'S REALLY SOLID) ? Maybe somebody can tell them?
Anyway, hope that they keep up with updates.
If you have a Fat model PS3 with 256 MB NAND, I would highly recommend going with the ProgSkeet versus the E3 flasher. If you have a later fat model that has 16mb NOR, I would still recommend the Progskeet since you are ok with soldering. The ProgSkeet can be used for many more things, and you can find a lot of help and support on their forums, as well as here on PS3Crunch.
You can even use the ProgSkeet solderless on 256mb NAND ps3s, it involves using a 360-CLIP and a ProgSkeet PCB adaptor. If you go that route, you can even add a dual nand to the setup, and run both OFW and MFW on the same ps3 without hard drive change. Take a look at the product page for ProgSkeet:
The problem is, it gets expensive using all those products. If you can solder, stick with plan old ProgSkeet. If you want to go the solderless route, you can buy all the pieces for the set at
There are other places where you can get the items, I just choose them as an example. If I remember correctly, Master has done quite a bit of work with ProgSkeet, so he could point you in a better direction with installation diagrams and support.
Good Luck!
