paradox do not make eboots for games like batman arkham city, resistance 3 and so on, they are just second class.
i guess some of the waiting tb customers are playing some rounds of ufc personal trainer to show their happiness.
such kind of releases are only take with a bit of ironic humor because these releases are "paradox".
but like ever, all things can get better if someone is waiting long enough.

Paradox aren't making the eboots. They are only distributing them! So TrueBlue did make these eboots.

What good is that for? And why should it be included in the firmware? I don't know what that function? does.
Basically it allows you to use saves from other systems as well as your owned saves on another profile. An example is if i had 2 ps3s I couldn't share the saves between them with fake save data I can. Or suppose my system blows up and I have my saves stored on a USB I'd be able to run them on the new PS3.
