Another vague changelog but hey, at least they released a new version quickly.
Has anyone tested it out yet? I assume that this time they fixed the issues for those with reactpsn, cinavia protection disabled, etc, but it would be nice to hear some confirmations from others.
Reactpsn has never worked for me, so I have the "vanilla" setup (TB CFW, and nothing else) and I doubt that I will have any problems. However, it would be great if people can use things like reactpsn/cinavia and also have the latest dongle firmware.
Again as newer PS3 games are being released, there is always a need to improve the operation of the 'True Blue' dongle to make sure it can still fully play all your latest games on your v3.55 PS3 Console.
Earlier this week, v2.6 was released, but due to problems with 'third-party' homebrew it was pulled, instead v2.61 has now been officially released on their site.
Remember you will need to upgrade your TB dongle for some of the newer games being released over the next few months, and if you have any freezing issues on start-up with our PS3 it is recommended to remove all 'third-party' programs like 'reACTPSN', 'Spoofers', etc. and restore to original TB CFW v2, then testing your PS3 unit out fully before attempting to re-install programs like 'reACTPSN'.
True Blue Dongle Update v2.61
1. Make sure your PS3 is running the True Blue "3.55-Dongle-DG" CFW (custom firmware)
2. Copy TrueBlueUpdate-2.61.pkg from this archive to a USB flash drive
3. Boot your PS3 _WITHOUT_ True Blue inserted, and then insert the USB flash drive
4. Navigate to (Game) -> (Install Package Files), and then select TrueBlueUpdate-2.61.pkg
5. The True Blue updater will be installed onto your PS3 HDD
6. Navigate to (Game) and load "True Blue Update v2.61"
7. The updater will start, and will then prompt you to insert the True Blue dongle.
Insert it only at this point, and continue. Your dongle will then be updated
8. After the update procedure has completed your PS3 will reset, and you will then
be able to enjoy your updated dongle
9. You may delete the True Blue Updater from your HDD after the update is complete

* Added PS3 firmware version spoofer
* Game compatibility fixes
- v2.51
* Added compatibility for revised True Blue hardware
- v2.5

reactpsn works great for me on true blue v2.6 cfw tb v2
Had to re-install the dlc and reactpsn and re-do the steps to do so after updating
although only dlc i've used with reactpsn is the batman ac dlc
gary, do you know if theyre coming out with any enw eboots sometime soon?
Last I heard, was Paradox was waiting for the 2.6 update, and then releases would be coming out within 48 hours after that, but then v2.6 had problems and was pulled, have not heard anything since then, but I think now that 2.61 is out and users are reporting no problems, we will see some eboot action soon.

From the info we got, after 2.61 comes out (it has now, obviously) we should be seeing new games for TB soon after.
