I wonder if you actually did own a TB dongle, would you still have posted this?, I doubt it..... So I can only put this statement down to JEALOUSY!,,
JEALOUSY lmao.. How is that jealousy.. If you knew me at all you would know i have actually defended true blue and it users many times.. If i owned one i would have the same feeling over this news..
So I can only put your statement down as SENSELESS!
If i wanted one i would pay the cheap $60 or Now i could use the DEX methods or i could use another PS3 i have access to. (so were does jealousy apply)

This is getting good But back on topic, STLcardsWS hit the nail right on the head. @Eboots I hope you realize that why make a newer dongle with a different design when it is still compatible with the older one. That defeats the whole purpose of making customers wait. If that was the case TB could of still release newer eboot patches. (Am I wrong people?) So basically the newer dongle they been working on for a 1-2 month period is pretty much the 2.7 genuine security update that JBKing/PB broke into and making the games compatible with.
This what I don't get people would automatically accuse me of being ungrateful about TB releasing/announcing their projects and I am not surprised or impressed AT ALL. I would of been happy if they stopped supporting the older dongle because the problem is the older dongle. No matter how many revisions you do clones would STILL break into it. Defeating the whole purpose of making people wait 1-2 or maybe 3months and repeating it again and again. TB did this not once but twice. In order to solve the problem TB must kill the old dongle and make a newer dongle with a different encryption/method for that newer dongle. Seeing how TB is still using the same trick sadly, that is their only trick. But like I said a while back. Most of you guys accepted it of waiting 2-3 months for playing newer games/patches so if you have no problem waiting for that then hey that's you. This is the problem most of you guys will defend them still (just like when I did back then) but back then I had a reason. TB met peoples expectations of releasing games every 2-3 weeks but until I seen the unnecessary updates and the 1-3month waiting period. 1 month for 2.6 1-2 months for 2.7 and finally 1-2 months for the newer dongle releases for a 2.8 that is a 5month delay. Which is why I stop defending them. But hey it's WAREZ there are always other ways/consoles to play them. If you chose to wait then wait. But it's pretty hypercritical to trash talk them when they don't do something, but when they do the same people praise them.

I think the TB couldīve been much more popular, if the team behind it would communicate better with the enduser.
Personally i have a Xbox 360 for multiplat games, so iīm not in such a urge to play newer games on my PS3, only the exclusives.
But for games like Resistance 3 i would buy something like TB, IF it would have better support and IF the makers of such a device donīt think they can take the enduser for a fool.
Because:
Why are there no more cracked updates, when they clearly are able to crack them?
Why are there no eboots for Batman, Resistance etc, when there are pirate discs?
When an eboot is not possible for these disc games, why not strait forward tell the enduser that an eboot is not possible?
Why is every update from them only about clones, clones, clones? The enduser DOES NOT care about this!
Why do they need to pre the eboots under different names, when every longtime scener knows that the same people are behind these groups?
This all makes the TB not look like a very good structured and shady product and THAT is the reason iīm not willing to pay premium-prize for something that simply looks halfassed.

Not only that. I mean 90% of TB customers already own a dongle (Including myself) If you look at it on a financial thing TB best thing would to be is to stop supporting that dongle because they already made 90% of their current sales. The only way to keep it up is to make a newer dongle. So that would keep cloners out for around 6-8 months and they will start to generate newer revenue. I don't like the way they operate but what they are doing is really silly. Why make the end user wait so long on an outdated dongle that everyone has cloned instead of make a newer dongle that would support newer games. Thats why TB made so much money because they are the only team doing it. This will piss off people but at the same time the same people would have no other option but to buy another dongle if they want to play games. (How TB made all of their sales in the first place) But when they say they made a newer dongle that coexists with the 1st one.... That makes no sense on a financial standpoint. Hell if the gamelist was right I would have no problem in buying a TB v2 for another 60 dollars. TB got their reputation of releasing eboots on an adequate basis. They are losing reputation/credibility by making users wait 1-2 months on some update that will get cracked into. I WAS happy when I heard the rumors but when I read that the dongle would coexist with the current one. It was just 1-2 months a waste of time such as the 2.6/2.7 updates that were a utter failure. TB even took the time out to get a special seal. TB please stop wasting peoples times and make a REAL newer dongle. Back to the drawing board I guess....

I understand loud and clear what your implying, BUT ask yourself this why would TB go through all this new packaging etc...etc... If its just going to get cracked like the old dongle as you state. They could have saved themselves some money and carried on producing the old dongle. So I doubt they're as stupid as people are trying to imply......I BELIEVE.... There was something in the 2.7 update that will stop the clones, isn't it the same when Sony updates their firmware..... Hhhmmmm.

The acual Dongle and packagaking are cheap compare to the $55 profit per device..
Thats why, and yet they still are fooling user like yourself. (sorry just being honest)

No offence taken.... I think the fools are the one waiting 1.5 years to play the latest games, stuck on a CFW that only plays old games. Maybe if I had loads of TB dongles lieing around or even a clone I would feel like a fool. But I only have 1 original TB dongle and I've surely had my money's worth and more... Doesn't feel foolish to me)))

And that's my point why waste money when you can just carry on selling the old dongle, and if not wasting money.... Then why waste time?

Same thing applies for a lot of the stuff people purchase on a daily basis.
As long as they hold the 3.60+ drm dongle market , they can get away w/ pretty much anything they want. That's the reason Tb team invest a lot of time on upping the security. I believe things will get interesting when (and IF) E3 releases their product
My point is beefing up the security will always be priority number 1 for those guys, hence the constant security updates. They want to get hold of that monopoly at any cost.

Agreed.... Like I said earlier, I believe something special was in that 2.7 update, to stop the clones
