No offence taken.... I think the fools are the one waiting 1.5 years to play the latest games, stuck on a CFW that only plays old games. Maybe if I had loads of TB dongles lieing around or even a clone I would feel like a fool. But I only have 1 original TB dongle and I've surely had my money's worth and more... Doesn't feel foolish to me)))
If your referring me as being a fool. For my situation why would i buy a TB when i have a second ps3 i picked up for just a little more then what the TB cost.. Im sure you got your moneys worth never said you didnt.. You did best for your situation. nothing wrong there.
Im not like some people who hate on TB users. I am just saying they are trying to pull the wool over your eyes.
And that's my point why waste money when you can just carry on selling the old dongle, and if not wasting money.... Then why waste time?

I said this news was not news. If they have new features that would of been the news. but as a TB owner you have been left on a cliff hangers before. That is a tactic by them to milk it..
On TB original Hardware I am guessing they made 80% profit on each device. Where as the new packaging and new device may of just been a reorder of new stock, maybe even cheaper. but say it wasn;t and say they are making 70% profit off each sale. (they will take a hit on profit to hype up the product, because this DEX news/Progress certainly will affect sales, if not completely wipe them out)
By telling you and people buying the new dongle that this may bring new features without the explanation of any new features, they are again milking it to the last drop. Without any info.
They cant protect their hardware from clones if the old cloned hardware will be compatible. So the need for new hardware to protect them is a bit false, or the fact the old hardware will be compatable is false..
Agreed.... Like I said earlier, I believe something special was in that 2.7 update, to stop the clones

A little common sense will do wonders with this news.
Same thing applies for a lot of the stuff people purchase on a daily basis.
As long as they hold the 3.60+ drm dongle market , they can get away w/ pretty much anything they want. That's the reason Tb team invest a lot of time on upping the security. I believe things will get interesting when (and IF) E3 releases their product
My point is beefing up the security will always be priority number 1 for those guys, hence the constant security updates. They want to get hold of that monopoly at any cost.
Yea i agree many things have a high profit margin and that is fine.. What I am saying this is not news and the news has holes as explained above.
They realize the monopoly is over and they will Squeeze every last bit out.
