so did they just change the dongle fw? or did they actually have to change the hardware too?
i would think when you say redesign the dongle it sounds like you mean hardware, but would they really need to do that? couldnt they just update the fw only?
...i dont want to get misunderstood but if the 3.56+ keys are indeed in the dongle then this is the end of ps3 ,plus if sony has no online banning system properly setup that will be the final nail in the coffin .since owning the keys will result overkill of the PSN and the online gaming
as much i like homebrew i like more psn . and we all saw what happened with mw2 in 3.55
lets hope that this will be 3.56+ games in a 3.55 cfw
Um i see alot of people do this we have the 3.56 keys just not the private key to make a CFW (well allegedly now there is a 3.56 CFW) how do you think we fixed all those 3.56 eboots?

I seriously think some of you will only think it's real when someone smacks you in the head with it.
It's legitimacy is known, however I don't agree with the "100% credible proof on exactly how it functions". We don't know if 3.60+ games function on the HDD without a special eboot, if we did this thread wouldn't be as long. Apparently we don't know if they're using dev eboots or new keys. If these things were 100% we wouldnt have 100+ page threads about it. And there wouldn't be people saying dev eboots and another side saying 3.60+ keys.

Back on topic, well I have no plans to buy it yet sadly as I have got a backlog of games in which I wanna play catch-up on and I'm gonna wait to see if anything else happens regarding this scene.
ROFL, I knew at least you would find humor in it and not take offense. I wonder how many will follow? :P. It's a simple test to see how uptight this scene is.

OK, either I'm seriously tired and off my game or your entire post was entirely contradictory. On one hand you don't agree with me saying we need 100% credible proof on exactly how it functions, but yet on the other hand you say we don't know and shouldn't know? I'm confused. Really confused.
Again either I'm completely misunderstanding you (which could very well be the case and if so I apologize) or again your contradicting yourself. Would you mind explaining?

BDR was tested, just burning an ISO downloaded will not make it work. Re-burn the indonesian BDR using MM doens't work either. Could work from your pc, using an appropriate burning program and setting, disk to disk copy from your pc. You can find some about it in english on the bubba's thread about JB2 review, ps3hax.
I know you want a full explanation, PatrickBatman, that's why GaryOPA told us "wait my next post and some crunchy members' post, all will be explained"
Yeah, it's me Dj Barth "One TrueBlue to rule them all, One Browser to find them,

Where did he say this ive been checking the review thread he started for like a week now i guess i dont see where he says he burned a game, he just made a sniper ghost warrior video and said the 5 Indonesian games he got worked but said he would burn a game on bdr and never reported back or maybe i missed this?
The last thing his profile said he posted about the dongle was, "All Games I got are the same.. They Boot And Play (Driver,Fifa 12,PES 12,.. I am not going to upload the same four more videos of them playing it.. They Work!!! I didnt get the New Update yet!!"
In fact the last post on that thread was 21 hours ago asking, "Did you try burning a game on a regular BD-R? If so, did it work? Thanks."

Just wondering if you can backup the backups you bought with the dongle ? Or is there something different with the discs ?
Cheers daz

Oh yeah that i remember reading that, yeah multiman doesnt burn bdr's obviously you'd prolly have to use imgburn or something
EDIT: I thought you meant bubba posted on how he made burned bdr work.
