I am so hyped about Max Payne 3 (praying for some TB patch when it gets released on the wild)... i have loved Max Payne 1 and 2 (and replayed about 2 weeks ago, just to get the feeling, again). What your thoughts on this Max Payne? Is it loyal to Max Payne dark ambience and strong story?
I dunno if this has been mentioned before, as I just found out today, but wouldn't it be nice for TB to release an update so we can run ps1 discs from multiman. I was playing Tales of Phantasia patched in english on 3.55 kmeaw before I got TB, but now I have to switch firmwares every time I wanna play a ps1 disc. I know TB isn't advertised to support ps1 discs, but it seems like we're losing a feature to gain a feature. There's gotta be a workaround that they could look into right?

I agree waiting sucks, and the reason it sucks for me. because they fixed the new protection. to know that, they had to have a eboot that didn't work but works now. Why not release that the same time they release the dongle patch? Even Gary said at another forum that there was supposed to be eboots coming and don't know why they haven't been released. we are waiting because they choose for us to. Thats why my TB tolerance for waiting is running low.
also, If people read and knows what JBking does, then they know it is a clone and the real one is True blue, there site even links to TB patches. They just wanted to save 10 dollars.
I hate that it costs money, But I love what it does. So I support true blue, because they are also behind the eboots. and they also fix security for higher Firmware.
When True blue quits due to the clones, does the clone users have a right to be pissed when there is no more eboots?
just like all the haters that foam at the mouth over TB and want it reversed engineered. that is stupid because if they do that. the eboots will stop. they should try reverse engineer the eboots if anything. then take the next step of the dongle.
You guys need to have some damn patience. Just because a patch comes out for the dongle doesn't mean they are ready for eboot patch releases. You guys do realize they have to crack each game individually right? They don't use an automated program. So they have to crack whatever routines/functions/etc is preventing them from running the game on the PS3, test the game to make sure it works correctly up until a satisfactory point in the game, and than release it. So usually they will work on a few games before releasing them. So just because a dongle patch comes out, doesn't mean the eboot patches are ready!
BTW _ MaxPayne 3 fucking rocks! Been playing it on 360 since it leaked two/three days ago. I'm gonna download it on PC when I get a chance as well to play in DX11. Than when I get some money I'm gonna buy it for Pc so I can play the MP as well.
On the PC side of things I've been playing a free to play TPS/FPS MMO called FireFall and Battlefield 3. Firefall is a pretty sweet game as well. And I'm currently downloading Eve-Online to get back into and Tribes Ascension (another free to play game.)

TL;DR re: True Blue: The waiting game for True Blue sucks big time but that's the only thing you can do when you only have a PS3 as a gaming system.

Well here is my 'rude comment' on what to say when geting bugged about new eboots:
Weekend is not over yet.
Today, in my area of the world it is still Sat. and hey its my Birthday, so everyone needs to get outside and PARTY
And, Tomorrow in most areas of the world it is Mother's Day, so if you still in your basement go upstairs and visit your mother!
If you a young man, call up your mom or better visit here, so many people are doing the 'call mom' it is knocking Skype and MSN off line due to the load.
If you even older, buy some nice gifts for the mother of your kids, and treat her out for the day, and do some housework, like hey clean the dust off your PS3 since you got no new games to play, so it must be getting dusty!
Sorry, Don't mind me and my rude lang. I am little drunk now as I was born on Mother's Day and my mom died when I was young, so this weekend hits me HARD like the drinks I been having too much of by now!
And here is my reply to another reason:
One thing that takes time is testing after the TB does an update for example v2.61 should had fixed some issues, but after testing v2.62 had to be released instead to much of a rush, and you run into problems, i know for fact there is only one coder on the Paradox side doing the eboot work after an TB update, and he loves to take time and test out the game fully, play thru it make sure it works, plus he is old-school off the grid, he is not connected in any form on the 'net, so no chance for him to be hack by some wannabe,etc. so once the eboots are finished, he puts them on external hdd along with the testing info and hands it in person to someone that can start the scene route via the 0day ftp's etc.
Also being off-the-grid means any failures in testing take time as they logs also or notes of problems have to go back the TB team by hand etc. Just the way it is to be more safe because of various country laws and the houndogs of Sony.
Remember TB has lasted longer then any other attempt at the PS3, a will be year on Oct. 19 and that is when the news broke, earlier tests were completed privately for over two months before that, and in that time over 100 games have been released, sure it is not many but over a year that is 1 every 3 days, and a year is not up yet, so that ratio will improved.
F*ck I only completed 4 games myself over the last year, I am amazed how fast people have been getting bored of some of the already released games.

They drop these corrections TB and creates an expectation in people (myself included too).
And there is in the air, will leave New EBOOTs, this does not happen right away and people get upset.
I'm not in no hurry to play new titles, but I confess to be upset, gives the impression that one is bullshit, that has no way to make new EBOOTs.
Know that it is not the case, but this is rather printing.
