Yeah, it's me Dj Barth "One TrueBlue to rule them all, One Browser to find them,
One TB CFW to bring them all and in the Internal HDD bind them
In the Land of BarthMordor where Modding lie"
These TB updates update their CFW?
Could someone have True Blue Dongle Update v2.3 and 2.2 and give me a link to them on PM? I know there is a Google but I need validate releases (2.3 is still on their site but downloading empty (0KB)).
This forum have a section with files Someone posted a pic with 2.4 "cfw updated", like you said

Well then he's crap out of luck lol. As it's just like buying a 360, ps3, 3ds, or anything else from a party that is not an official seller/reseller, etc.
Haven't seen your post in a while. Merry Christmas man.
Barth is hurt because he can only cry in here and not to any reseller, just let him. LOL @Barth hope you get it, it's a tease (joke)

Can someone explain what they mean by 'game compatibility' issues? If they have keys which they are re-signing with their own, or have 'total control' of eboot decryption, why would some games work and not others? I thought either they all would work or none of them would. I can't see this being the reason that we haven't had any decent games we asked for like PES or Batman. Thanks in advance to anyone for replying.
I heard that games have started checking to make sure they weren't being played off of a hard drive. So I would assume the team is having to fix that and so by themselves, the keys are not enough unless you burn to a master disc. This is similar to the PS2 scene in which you had to apply certain patches for some games and one of them was to patch an anti-hdd patch that the developers put into the game code.

To be fair, his dongle bricked shortly after his warranty ended. Most just assume that that is that and nothing can be done about it. While some businesses will not work with you, that is a stupid choice business wise as like you said you can lose customers that way. I too would advise people to contact their reseller as who knows, maybe they can fix it or TB can use the brick to prevent others. An unbricking tool would probably come faster if the TB team had gotten a brick sample back, then they could pin point how it is bricking and patch it on a newer update.
Another point I would like to make is that a warranty in my eyes is representative of a company's confidence in their product or service. A one month warranty for electronics is poor and I probably wouldn't buy from someone if it only had a one month warranty especially if it took upwards a month to get to me (of course Barth got his local, so he had no shipping, but the point still stands, some places have horrible warranty practices). Even worse is if they are strict about cases so close to the warranty ending period. There is only one way to find that out in those cases and it is to talk to the company themselves. I am glad Barth was able to get a replacement. I just want people to think about these things. If you become willingly ignorant of these things, then you only have yourself to blame.
