settle down, if it doesn't work.. then you're gonna have to suck it up, free some internal space and play it that way until someone can make it run from an external now won't you?

If TB releases a eboot patch then yes you need the TB firmware and dongle. It will enable you to play your retail purchased disk backed up to HDD on your 3.55 CFW console without having to update to OFW from sony.

Auch! My heart was about to stop!

Doing the update of the dongle to v2.5, following the instructions, as always, i was in the part where we have to insert the dongle, to update the firmware... click OK... is starts... then... all STOP at 7%... total freeze, click PS buttons... nothing... hmmm?! I scratch my head... all freeze... no hard reset... nothing.... then unplug/plug the cord... restart (with dongle inserted)... all black... i was thinking... sh**t; fu**k... i bricked this thing! Worst... i brick my PS3!

Restart whitout dongle... heart pumping... all OK... PS3 has restarted... but, and the dongle?!!

THEN! I remember!! I was trying to update the dongle, inserted on the right USB slot (slim model)!! I restart the update process, inserted the dongle on the LEFT usb slot... TCHAM! TCHAM!! All updated! All ok!!

This a warning msg about this left/right USB slot, to prevent others, on keeping is heart healthier!!

Only wonder if you can just as with the previous, by simply knowing.

Haha yeah did you read the top of the list? all updates from PatrickBatman, he updates after I update the one here, copies mine and posts it there.

I got the the whole true blue forum started over there (sounds pretentious but it's true) they finally took it seriously and made my thread into a forum, now it's better but you wont get any new info from there as I give them the info or bitsbubba does.

But jayjay really keeps the TB forum running over there and he's a good guy.

Still though different site layout if you're tired of this one. (also his list is prettier than mine )

(Just trying to make other sites not be trueblue haters as much as I can, people sometimes forget it's not about your reputation or which scene site is better, it's about playing video games)

Well if he added an external PSN list thats all him, i added which PSN games are available but not as true blue (example: Driver SF, Splinter Cell, God of War origins, FIFA 12) but if he added some external list for PSN games thats all him, good to know he's adding to the list

Guess i should check that out hahahaha

Yeah you are right Patrick, you are the guy that answered me some questions back then when TB came to be, and after your posts there I've found this great forum / thread with new pieces of information every day. Thanks

come to think of it, that little plastic case the TB is in in the pictures, mine did not come with one, just the dongle. but my package did not seem opened.
seems weird though that overnight UPS/Fedex will ship stuff like weed and other drugs with no problems but some mod stuff gets looked at.

PS you dont have a friends house, or place of work you can have something shipped to? most of my packages come to my office.
Your reseller probably wanted to save money or was lazy and didn't put it in it's case or removed it (or maybe his shipment didn't come in cases). I've heard of pot being sent via FEDEX/UPS and being delivered and I've heard the FBI allows it so they can watch the person selling it and buying it. I've also heard of it being shipped without any fuss, but those have been INSIDE USA borders, not coming from a Store flagged by US Customs. All mod stores are flagged ever since the big bust in the USA. Shops in Canada have also been visited by authorities and warned of upcoming legalization that may put their business in jeopardy. I also wouldn't put a friend or my place of employment at risk. Maybe there is no "list", but I'm sure on someones radar.
