If this is real, the bootldr is finished. Well, if someone actually decides to work on it that is. If bootldr is compromised, lv0 is compromised in every firmware to this day and onwards (see diagram). The bootldr is impossible for Sony to change and so is the PCK as they are generated at the factory. In that case that this is what I think it is, it's the biggest breakthrough since Fail0verflow.
Don't quote me on that though, as I might be horribly wrong, but that is what I understand this is. If I remember correctly, people were waiting for GitBrew to find a method to dump the PCK. I wouldn't go partying right away as this could be nothing, or it could be huge, it can also be fake. Wait for the real developers to say something about that page and wait for Gary to confirm or deny before going popping the champagne.

that's pretty much it, with the root key, Sony is truly screwed, with Lvl0 decrypted they couldn't hide the keys ANYWHERE else (such as 0.2 as they did) so anything they update we could just keep updating our CFWs (at least from my understanding)

Yeah, I thought they were releasing a method so you could create your own ?
How will this even last very long ? Selling illegal copies of games and distributing them worldwide ? Presumably they're based in countries which Sony can't go after!?
This seems like really old and irrelevant news now to be honest, now that people know how it's done, have set about reversing it, and now this console key news...
I don't think i would be comfortable buying bootlegged games
There is going to be other ways, but I am not posting the details until they are solid and confirmed and actual information that will be real and part of the package.
Like I say before the how "international" version is marketted and handled for outside of Asia will be a little different then the current 'test market' version seen working and sold from Asia in 'modshops' which started the original JB2 dongle rumors.
