i'm willing to offer you my help, as i'm also from germany. do you mean remote control over ps3 or if someone can lend it to you?
but first some clarification as i'm not familiar with such things. how do ppu/spu codes interfere with system if anything goes wrong? i mean i have a nor flasher, but no syscon/eeprom flasher if this gets messed up.
His code most likely wouldn't affect your syscon eeprom. I'm pretty sure he just wants to send a pkg or a script to your ps3 and remotely run it.

Sorry for the long delay. Unfortunately Abusers Ps3 went to hell, so I'll concentrate on encryption, reversing and all that stuff now, since I can't test code at the moment. I prepared something else but well, no problem. I'll just continue with that now.
Next post will be online when it's done(around christmas I guess). My own topic today will be "read Syngress - Reverse Engineering Code with IDA pro"
I already prepared my testing environment and will begin to test tomorrow. Not that hard I hope, I already did some reverse engineering and debugging while developing exploits, just not with ppc64 asm.

the new year sucks. A lot of trouble... :/ I'll continue the blog tomorrow or the day after, I already prepared everything. I got access to my Ps3's again and I can reverse now, I read a fucking lot about IDA and the SPU/PPU code and so on. Be prepared That will be a lot of technical stuff. I guess downgrading will also be a topic, I almost finished soldering with my progskeet(nobody told me that I'll need a shitload of cables xD).
I'm really sorry that I didn't post anything new so far but my boss really kept me busy. I wasn't prepared to work like 18 hours a day. But well, you have to work to earn money
