Some developers at ps3-tools.de have released a XMBM+ MOD that utilizes a FIX Package Browser which allows you to download game fixes directly to your custom firmware PlayStation
i think is a good idea to add that to the last RC version 1.00
It's a good idea, i'll be using my little spare time to focus on the installer (and it will take some time to get it a little more robust) so if anyone wants to make changes in the xmls, please do.
Just use the git.
By the way i discovered the problem with PSN submenu was something to do with the rco. In a rco free version it works.

thien, the links are down for now because the RC was frontpaged in a site while still in RC phase and the RC are not full working versions and since the installer mess with dev_flash it's a risk to put it to use to anyone.
When installer version RCA (i can't make RC10... so RC10 will be RCA) is finisehd the links will be here. But it may take a while until the installer RCA is finished.
Anyway if you want to really use RC9 you can download the source from git and build it with the sdk (run \bin\source_build.bat, then run \bin\packages_build_all.bat, then go get the files in \output dir). https://github.com/XMB-Manager-Plus
any update on the installer working for 4.21, 4.25, 4.30, etc...?
Well if dev_blind can be mounted in the same way as in 3.55CFW, then resigning the eboot for the installer should work, unless the FW is patched to accept old homebrew then it should work right away. Though I would be wary installing the XMBM+ on FW4.30+. Sony changed how games in the 'Game' category are listed in the XML files, and it's likely the old method(used by XMBM+) isn't supported anymore.

Co-developer of XMB Manager Plus - One of the few and maybe even the only open collaboration project on the PS3 Scene without any drama.

thanks ps3hen, yes I am aware of the structure what I was going to do was grab the xml's & rco's and them to port XMBM+ over to 4.30 (and possibly 4.21) but I was going to start with something a little simple and see if it could install my 4.30 port of PS3Ultimate TV, but no a simple resigning didn't work (currently 4.21-4.30 only dev_blind working is multiMAN)
Over the last weeks i have been rebuilding the XMBM+ installer:
- Updated the graphical library
- Rewrote allmost all the code
- Now works with different screen resolution and the position and sizes are resized
- Now the PS button works
- Multiple checks while copying (free disk space; file check after backuping and copying; etc)
- A lot of error, warning and tos messages
- Hability to copy entire directories
- Progress bars while copying, backuping up, checking and restoring
- Hability to delete a menu app or a backup (Press SQUARE)
- Autocheck firmware version and type
- A simple log is created
- Added new 4.30/4.21 CFW support
- etc
Also as a bonus in the Full version is now included a rco free version (only english).
This is mainly an update to the installer and for newer FW versions. So don't expect big changes to the XMBM+ mod.
The readme, git, sdk, updater and dropbox where also updated. Also removed 4.00 HFW because is not needed anymore
So, now i put it here v1.00 RCA for the xmbm+ team to test and give feedback.
Remember, as i posted before this installer is flexible enough to be used on another projects that envolve file copying to anywhere on the PS3. You can do that by creating updates which i called AppPack that will be autommaticly added to the menu after pkg install, or with a standalone installation like razorX did for his PS3Ultimate TV.
I would like to thanks deroad for the improvments on NoRSX graphical lib and for the help in implementing it, razorx for testing the installer with is app and giving suggestions and bitsbubba for testing in 4.30 Rogero.
Note to site admin/moderators: Please don't frontpage this while is a RC WIP and not tested enough.
