Downloads are located in Post #1 as well Post #2. Post #1 is a slim down version of post #2. Post #2 provides alot of addition info vital for running some emulators. Post #1 click the emulator name (not system names) for downloads. Post #2 there is a download box @ the top in every section.
If anything is anything that is inaccurate or missing please reply or contact me via PM.
-- All Downloads are for 3.55 CFW users only. unless noted otherwise.
-- This information and software should only be used for your legal content. Please do not post any illegal rom sites.
-- Most Downloads are .pkg. (installable directly from a CFW enabled PS3)
Downloads containing multiple files/important indo will remain in a zip format.
They provide us with alot of hard work so we don't have to dig our old systems out and try hooking them up to your HDTV .. If you find the software useful for your legally owned content. Then please consider giving a donation to the PS3 Developers responsible for the homebrew that is of great use.
Donation links will be posted by direct request from a Dev, and/or from their official project pages.

- This is not a Standalone Emulator or your Standard Multi-Emulator. This emulator (x5200) is running on the WinDos Final (windows 3.1) Emulator, that is being emulated through DosBox emulator. Luckily it is still very easy to use this emulator.
- Samson from PS3Hax Says "i've set up dos based emus to launch from a run.bat so end user can edit and add game to be run, if you have problems try running from explorer, run, run as dos session.
- Also added, ps3hax theme wallpaper by Kajika, usb support(no hot plugging) a fake cd rom(folder) to copy file into (ps3 file manager or ftp) a windows based hex editor, so i think i am about done with it most 3d game lag.. but all 2d and simple 3d work. running slow-Pentium fixed@4000 BUT you can bump the cycles up as much as you want, but sound will suffer."

- Some pb with SDL1.2 hatari code (ex: code Keysym 1.2 different from 1.3) so i make quick dirty hack , not all the keys are working and it's seem to break a lot keyrepeat .
- Hatari & sdlgui use partial screen update , and PS3 SDL don't have hardware cursor code , so i make another quick & very bad hack to show something we can call a mouse pointer (hum i know it's a square) and force the gui redraw , this make the gui very bad and slow, and there is a big lag between mouse action and screen update. Apologize for this.
- In fullscreen mode Gui seem not working correctly so change to desktop mode if needed.
- XMB seem to freeze PS3 when calling from home button so exit from the gui or AltGr-Q combo.
- I ve not tested all the option , just few games , so maybe other pb around ...

Know Problems
- Works with a real keyboard or you have to use my lame virtual keyboard
- Virtual kbd is weak & wrong ...
- Some pb with SDL1.2 caprice32 code (ex: code Keysym 1.2 different from 1.3) so i make quick dirty hack
not all the keys are working ...
- Sound not working as expected ,no time for now to look at the pb.
- I ve quickly coded a lame disk browser so only file with ext .dsk or .DSK (no more than 400) are showing
the files are not sorting , and the browser/browsing is bad
- I ve not tested very well, just few games , so maybe other pb around ...
Sorry for all this problems but i hope you enjoy anyway somes old good games .
- This is a test release, not all features have been thoroughly tested. Please report any issues and feedback.
- Issues should NOT be reported to the FUSE project, this port is unofficial and the fuse team will not be able to provide support.

Download:ScummVM Version: 1.5.0 Released: July/27/2012 PS3 Developer: ScummVM Team
History
- ScummVM is a program which allows you to run certain classic graphical point-and-click adventure games, provided you already have their data files. The clever part about this: ScummVM just replaces the executables shipped with the game, allowing you to play them on systems for which they were never designed!
- Originally it was designed to run LucasArts' SCUMM games, such as Maniac Mansion, Monkey Island, Day of the Tentacle or Sam and Max. SCUMM stands for 'Script Creation Utility for Maniac Mansion', which was the first game for which LucasArts designed this system. And much later it gave its name to ScummVM ('VM' meaning Virtual Machine).
- Over time support for a lot of non-SCUMM games has been added, and ScummVM now also supports many of Sierra's AGI and SCI games (such as King's Quest 1-6, Space Quest 1-5, ...), Discworld 1 and 2, Simon the Sorcerer 1 and 2, Beneath A Steel Sky, Lure of the Temptress, Broken Sword I and II, Flight of the Amazon Queen, Gobliiins 1-3, The Legend of Kyrandia series, many of Humongous Entertainment's children's SCUMM games (including Freddi Fish and Putt Putt games) and many more. You can find a full list with details on which adventures are supported and how well on the compatibility page. ScummVM iscontinually improving, so check back often.
Prerequisites
- A homebrew enabled PlayStation 3 console. As of now that mostly means having a custom firmware installed. Obtaining and installing such a software is out of the scope of this document. Sorry, but you're on your own for that one.
Games can be launched either from an USB drive or from the internal hard drive. The internal hard drive has better performance though.
Savegames are wrote in the /hdd0/game/SCUM12000/saves folder.
From a computer, download the installable package of the PS3 port from ScummVM's main site. It should be a .pkg file. Copy it to an USB drive.
After having plugged the USB drive to you PS3, the installation package should appear in the XMB under the "Games > Install Package" menu. Installing it copies ScummVM and its dependencies to your PS3's hard drive. It also adds the "Games > PlayStation 3 > ScummVM" XMB entry which is to be used to launch ScummVM.
- Port of the E-UAE Amiga emulator for the PS3 game console.
Compiled by psl1ght sdk and libraries.

Reads either /dev_usb000/uae/uae.cfg or /dev_hdd0/game/EUAE00829/USRDIR/UAE.CFG
configuration during startup!
Additional info
- The program reads uae.cfg during startup. In this configuration file
you should specify all required parameters (memory size, kick rom, initial
floppy disk files, cpu core, chipset etc.).
- Files (kickrom, adf files) are accesible from either usb disk or internal disk.
- NTSC support: press and hold CIRCLE button during emulator startup to initialize
480 lines /60 Hz video mode. If it doesn't work for you, you can press and hold
TRIANGLE button during starup to use the current video mode set in dashboard.
Make sure to change emulator options to actually emulate ntsc amiga machine by
setting ntsc=true in your configuration file or in options.
- Save states are stored in your harddisk directory
/dev_hdd0/game/EUAE00829/USRDIR/SAVE
- to use harddisk file: enter options and mount it the "Hard files" submenu.
Alternatively you can specify the harddisk in your configuration file
by adding the following line:
hardfile=read-write,32,1,2,512,/dev_usb000/uae/system.hdf
or, if the previous one doesn't work for you:
hardfile=read-write,0,0,0,512,/dev_usb000/uae/system.hdf
Normally you just need to change the path and filename of the hardfile. The
first four numbers are the default ones and should work even if your emulated
disk file has a different size. The first set of numbers is ok for hardfiles
formated to OFS (old file system), the second set (zeros) is for harddisk files
formated to RDB (fast file system).

_________________________________
- The emulator is distributed with some software for the Color Computer II, it is distributed with:
Dungeons of Daggorath, per the license below: http://iloveglory.freehostia.com/daggorath/license.html
- To find other ROMS, and to find BIOS files; search google for the phrase, they are REQUIRED to getthe emulator working: "color computer” roms
PS3Roar creates a folder structure on a USB drive that does not already contain a “PS3Roar” directory, the structure is:
BIOS
CASSETTES
DISKS
images
ROMS
SNAPSHOTS
- These folders correspond to the folders in the installed PS3roar directory on the HDD. Placing files on the USB Stick, then again inserting into the PS3 and pressing CONTROL+U once more will copy the files to the PS3. Once copied, the USB stick can be removed.
- Note: files are NEVER loaded from USB,
they must be on the internal HDD in the proper location. The CONTROL+U functionality makes this easy and removes the need to FTP files to the PS3
Notes
- You will need to unzip the rom files. They need to be .rom files, the emulator doesn’t deal with .zips
- You will need to get your own roms and (for now) place them in /dev_hdd0/game/PS3Roar00/USRDIR/ROMS/ to get the emulator
CrashSerious says: (PS3 Developer)
When you install this, you will get a orange and black checker board pattern on the screen. This is because teh BIOS for the system you want to emulate isn’t in the pkg.
You can insert a USB Pen drive into the PS3 and press Control+U and the needed folder structure will be created for you on the Pen drive.
Place the BIOS files in the /PS3Roar/BIOS folder and you will then insert it back into the PS3 and press Control+U again to copy the files to the PS3.
Exit the emulator and reload it and you should be in business. Because of the original license I could not distribute the BIOS roms with the pkg. (Sorry) No doubt some person will create easy to use zip/rar’s to extract to the root of the pen drive to help make this much easier for you.

How to Port (Convert) your PC-DOS to the PS3
Using this Easy to use PC Windows App. will be all you need, run the app then out is a .pkg file that will install your DOS game to be playable from XMB. Note: not all DOS games will work properly on a PS3. DOStoPS3
Issues
_________________________________
- There are still some performance bottlenecks. In testing cycle values above 10000 provided the most issues. Tweaking some values in dosbox-0.74.conf may help to improve performance.
- There are still some usability issues with the on screen keyboard. If a lot of typing is necessary you may consider hooking up a physical one.
- Using the fluidsynth midi synth requires a soundfont is sf2 format. Place the file on the PS3 and edit dosbox-0.74.conf to set the value ‘midiconfig’ to the full path to the file. It’s also necessary to change the ‘mididevice’ option to the value ‘synth’.
- There is currently no PS3 optimized loader. The DOS commands needed to launch the game need to be type every time you start the app. You can reduce the typing by adding common lines to the dosbox config file’s autoexec section.
- When loading the application PS3 game pad one begins in Mouse Mode. In mouse mode the left stick moves the cursor, Cross sends a left click, and Square sends a right click. Pressing L3 will turn on keyboard mode.
- In keyboard mode, the left stick moves the cursor, pressing cross presses the highlighted key. When a key is highlighted and any button is pressed (other than Cross, Square, L3 and R3) that button will be mapped to the key, in mouse mode pressing the button will be the same as pressing the key on the keyboard. Press L3 to return to mouse mode. This is useful, for example, to map the DPad to the keyboards arrow keys.
- In mouse mode, press R3 to enter joystick mode. In this mode the game pad acts as an SDL joystick.

If RetroArch emulates the system then it is recommended that you use RetroArch for that system instead of Mednafen. (Except for PC-Engine / Turbo Grafx systems as they are still a WIP on RetroArch.)
RetroArch is a modular multi-system emulator system that is designed to be fast, lightweight, and portable. It has features few other emulators frontends have, such as real-time rewinding and game-aware shading.
Why is it special?
Right now RetroArch is unique in that it runs the same emulator cores on multiple systems (such as Xbox 360, PS3, Wii, PC, etc).
For each emulator 'core', RetroArch makes use of a library API that we like to call 'libretro'.
Think of libretro as an interface for emulator and game ports. You can make a libretro port once and expect the same code to run on all the platforms that RetroArch supports. It's designed with simplicity and ease of use in mind so that the porter can worry about the port at hand instead of having to wrestle with an obfuscatory API.
The purpose of the project is to help ease the work of the emulator/game porter by giving him an API that allows him to target multiple platforms at once without having to redo any code. He doesn't have to worry about writing input/video/audio drivers - all of that is supplied to him by RetroArch. All he has to do is to have the emulator port hook into the libretro API and that's it - we take care of the rest.
Libretro is the API that RetroArch uses. It makes it easy to port games and emulators to a single core backend, such as RetroArch.
For the user, this means - more ports to play with, more crossplatform portability, less worrying about developers having to reinvent the wheel writing boilerplate UI/port code - so that they can get busy with writing the emulator/porting the emulator/game.

It has all the features the standalone PS3 emulators had, with the
addition of:
multiMAN Compatible (Feature Currently Broken)
Save/Load Support
Game-aware shading in every emulator now*
Multi-Shaders
Real-time rewinding
More shader features (motion blurring, etc)
Switching between emulator cores seamlessly, and ability to install new libretro cores

Included with RetroArch PS3 are a bunch of shaders - including the latest versions of the popular xBR shader. It is possible to use two shaders simultaneously to get the best possible graphical look.
RetroArch DLC (opium2k)
--------------
* Check out Opium2k's manual shaders for Zelda 3 and others - you can find DLC packs for RetroArch at this site:
On first startup, RetroArch will select one of the dozen or
so emulator/game cores. The name of the core currently loaded will
be shown at the top side of the screen.
You can now select a ROM that this core supports and load it in
the Filebrowser.
To select a different core in the menu - press Select to go to the
Settings screen. From here, go to the 'Retro tab', and select
'Default emulator core'. Press X to go to a filebrowser where you

Notes
------------
RetrArch
All Bios Files need to be placed in /dev_hdd0/game/SSNE10000/USRDIR/cores/system
Libretro
PR-BOOM - Requires PRBOOM.WAD (link) in the same same folder as your doom WAD file.
Final Burn Alpha - Based on version 0.2.97.26. Make sure you have the right ROMs or you will have problems.
Genesis-Plus-GX - Sega CD Emulation requires a sega cd bios in the same folder as your ISO / BIN files. The BIOS ROM files be named bios_CD_J.bin (Japan), bios_CD_U.bin (US) and bios_CD_E.bin (Europe). Sega CD music tracks are not yet completely supoorted (WIP), doesn't affect sound affects or music in some games.
Mednafen_PCE - PCEngine / Turbo Grafix CD Emulation requires the BIOS to be in the same folder as the ROM you are trying to load. It needs to be named SYSCARD3.PCE
iMame4All - Based on Mame Version 0.37b5, again make sure you have the right romset.
Bugs & Issues
iMame4All / Mednafen_PCE & Sega CD are WIP and some bugs / issues do exist.
With both of these cores, they will crash if you try to load a ROM while a ROM is running. To get round this issue, when you want to change the game / ROM, Press R3 then select "Change Libretro Core" and reselect the core.
Save States are also not working on iMame4All and Mednafen_PCE at the moment.
If you find any other bugs, please report them in this thread.

Use Secret Menu
Press Start+Select in any menu
Choose 'Show Log' to display the contents of the global logger.
Choose 'Get New EBOOT' to choose a new EBOOT.BIN, this will be copied over '/dev_hdd0/game/MDFN90002/USRDIR/EBOOT.BIN'
Make sure the new EBOOT is valid, and preferably signed
If you're careful, you can change the mednafen version without jailbreak
FTP Set Up
Press R3 to open the settings menu and select FTP client.
Set 'host' and 'port' to the address of the FTP server
Set 'username' and 'password' to the login of the FTP server
Set 'enable' to ON, then restart mednafen, an FTP option should be available on the first page.
Caveats
FTP is an insecure protocol, any passwords will be sent plaintext across the network
The stored password is not masked in anyway and will be readable by anyone
I recommend setting up the server as read only with an anonymous login
The latest file is stored at /dev_hdd0/game/MDFN90002/USRDIR/temp.ftp
Attempting to access an unavailable server may delay the PS3 for over minute before the host lookup times out.
Attempting to load a large file may delay the PS3 while the file is transfered.
CD games will not work from FTP
Set Up
Press R3 to open the settings menu and select Netplay.
Set 'host' and 'port' to the address of the Netplay server
Set 'username' and 'password' to the login of the Netplay server
Set 'gameid' to the unique ID for the game (every player wanting to play together should use the same ID)
Is commands menu chose 'Connect Netplay' to connect to server
During Netplay press both R2 and R3 to disconnect from the server
Caveats
Attempting to access an unavailable server may delay the PS3 for over minute before the host lookup times out.
Record Video and Record Audio
Choose the option once to start recording, choose it a second time to end recording.
Enabling recording will slow down emulation, this will be fixed later (hopefully)
Output directory is the video and wave directories under /dev_hdd0/game/MDFN90002/USRDIR/mednafen/.
Video format is in a QuickTime .mov container.
Audio format is in MS .wav format.
Settings Menu
Many settings will not take effect until mednafen is restarted
Use left and right to change settings value
Press Cross to use the on screen keyboard to set a value
Press Triangle to return a setting to it's default value
IPS Patching
Place the patch in the same directory as the game
Name should be original file name + .ips For example Game.zip=Game.zip.ips Game.nes=Game.nes.ips
Be careful to assure the ROM is in the right format for the patch. Some formats have headers that can cause patches to not work.
PCE CD Support
Ensure that the correct BIOS file is set in the settings menu
To load game select .cue file describing disc
Games can be in 'bin+cue', or iso with Ogg Vorbis audio tracks, MP3 tracks are not supported. (MusePak .mpc files may also be supported, but are not tested, so no guarantees.)
Please ensure accurate file naming in .cue file, including file path, and file name case.
PSX Support
Ensure that the correct BIOS file is set in the settings menu, running without a BIOS will not work on PS3 (Endian issues).
To load game select .cue file describing disc.
CDDA is not supported, CD copy protection is not supported, analog controls are not supported.
Even the simplest parts of the simplest games won't reach full speed.
Please ensure accurate file naming in .cue file, including file path, and file name case.
In Game Buttons R2 for Fast Forward L2 for Rewind (if enabled) R3 to open Commands Menu
Notes
Some systems may require a BIOS image to work, please assign them in the settings menu
Commands
In Game press R3 to open the commands menu
Available Commands
Change Game: Play a different game Reset Game: Reset the game Show Text File: Display a text file Connect Netplay: Connect to a Netplay server Save State: Save the game state Load State: Load the game state Take Screen Shot: Save a screen shot of the game Settings: Open the settings menu
Configure Controls: Change the controller type and button mapping Record Video: Record video frames to disk (currenly slows emulation without affecting output) Record Audio: Record audio data to disk (currently slows emulation without affecting output) Exit: Return to xmb
Bugs and Issues
Gameboy Advance support is spotty, most games will have some frameskip.
Rewind in Gambatte will crash on certain games.
Rewind in VBA-M is slow and may cause crashes.
There is no way to change disk sides in FDS games.
Some features may be missing from WonderSwan and neo-geo pocket.
Using netplay may cause a high frameskip.

PS3's PS2 Software Emulator is unlocked on all PS3 models
Thanks to developers mysis and eussNL now all PS3's models without the Cobra dongle can play Retail Ps2 disc. This method only work when you are in Factory Service Mode. PS3 Developer CrashSerious Has a Software Solution for Accessing of Factory Service Mode (FSM) . Check Below for Information on his "Factory Service Mode Tool" App. Beware that Compatibility Is really low on non0BC models check the links beware for playable titles. ALWAYS BEWARE when messing with files on your flash, you always have a risk of a brick.
Method on FW 3.55, without! Cobra-USB Dongle or Downgrade, for all consoles fat & slim.
1. Replace following files on your consoles /dev_flash/
with the ones included in this archive
p3dwik-ps2compatfiles.rar
2. Get into Factory Service Mode (FSM Tool/Dongle)
3. Insert your Original PS2 Game Disc
4. It will run.
Note: Backups wont work. You’re getting the compatibility of the FW 2.60 software PS2 emulator with all of its bugs.
UPDATE: According to PS3 Developer samson. You do not have to enter Factory Service Mode. I myself haven't tried this i am just reporting the news here.
You dont need to dude, all i've been doing is: (mini-tut with links)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
1, replace the dev_flash files
2, launch LV2 Patcher (with new ps2 patch)
3, boot from disc or use boot_ps2.pkg, both work.
--------------------------------------------------------------
Also second pad can be used and works, pressing ps button for five seconds on pad 2 just switches the pad off, on pad 1 it quits game back to xmb and you have to re-apply the patch. With boot_ps2 you need a pad plugged into usb.
I did try the fsm way and it's almost the same no audio via hdmi , but you do need the pad plugged to usb, and you dont get game apps.

setting ntsc=true in your configuration file or in options.
- Save states are stored in your harddisk directory
/dev_hdd0/game/EUAE00829/USRDIR/SAVE
- to use harddisk file: enter options and mount it the "Hard files" submenu.
Alternatively you can specify the harddisk in your configuration file
by adding the following line:
hardfile=read-write,32,1,2,512,/dev_usb000/uae/system.hdf
or, if the previous one doesn't work for you:
hardfile=read-write,0,0,0,512,/dev_usb000/uae/system.hdf

The team behind the ScummVM emulator has released an update to bring this great emulator to version 1.5.0. This release is being called the "Picnic Basket" Release. If you are not familiar with ScummVM check below for a brief explanation and some history of this truly great emulator.
What is ScummVM?
- ScummVM is a program which allows you to run certain classic graphical point-and-click adventure games, provided you already have their data files. The clever part about this: ScummVM just replaces the executables shipped with the games, allowing you to play them on systems for which they were never designed.
ScummVM is continually improving, so check the official site ScummVM :: Home to see all the latest developments.
ScummVM 1.5.0 "Picnic Basket" Released

Looks like Rtype Released another Emulator for the PS3 a few days ago. Saw this in PSX forums.
I personally dont know much about this emulator, or the system. Will be posting this in the future after i take a look at it or get some more info.
Originally , i was thinking about to not release to all until i update to the Caprice 4.2.0 version ,
but since i ve no time left to solve some vdu bug in 4.2.0 , i decide to release the dbg version based on the 4.1 version.
( as you can play some old good games with this version , but be sure to know what exactly is an Amstrad CPC computer before lunch it on the PS3 )
So ...
What?: A quick port of caprice32-4.1.0 to ps3 using PSL1GHTV2 / SDL .
Why? : It was the first computer i own.
Who? : Rtype
This is just an old Caprice32 version (4.1.0) for ps3 with psl1ghtV2 sdk .
Have no many freetime to work on it , so don't expect to much .
You will find binary in release.zip & source code (for thoose who want to look at ) in capold-4.1.0.zip.
be sure to read READMEPS3.TXT before install .
Original project from Ulrich Doewich at Caprice32 | Free System Administration software downloads at SourceForge.net , so credits for him."
Works with a real keyboard or use the lame wirtual keyboard .
1) In game
on ps3 joystick:
LEFTSTICK= CPC JOY MOVE | UP/DOWN/RIGHT/LEFT
BCROSS= Button1 | X
BSQUARE= button2 | Z
on real kbd:
as expected (hum not really)
2) In the file dsk browser
LEFTSTICK_UP > scroll up
LEFTSTICK_DOWN > scroll down
LEFTSTICK_LEFT > page up
LEFTSTICK_RIGHT > page down
BCROSS= load
BSQUARE= cancel
3) System key
on real kbd:
F5 reset
F6 loaddrive
F10 exit
on ps3 joystick:
L1 load dsk browser
R1 show virtual kbd
R2 valid a virtual key
L2 type cat + return
L3 type run"
R3 toggle DBG flag , IF DGB ON > show fps and sound on
TRIANGLE type DEL
CIRCLE type ENTER
START reset
SELECT exit
TODO (As of: 4.1.0 DBG)
- add sna load/save
- update to 4.2.0 source code
- fix sound
- fix keyboard
- fix browser
Quick Install & Start:
________________________________
- Create somes dir in /dev_hdd0/ :
/dev_hdd0/HOMEBREW and /dev_hdd0/HOMEBREW/amstrad
- Put some cpc dsk (.dsk or .DSK , no zip) in :
/dev_hdd0/HOMEBREW/ST/
- Install the pkg .
- In emulator press L1 to load a dsk
then L2 for execute a CAT on dsk and see the name of executable
then L3 for write a RUN"
and finaly use kbd to write the name of executable and press return ( or CIRCLE )
4) complete with kdb(real or virtual ) to have :
run"ARKANOID
5) Press ENTER from kbd or Press CIRCLE to load game
6) Optional Press R3 to enable DBG and SOUND ( beware Sound not working as expected )
