(NULL)QUICKSAVE.ESS is generated at the root of the game disc image when you decide to remove the cache. (i prefer this method then directory diving), it is displayed as (NULL) to signify the root directory, but the ps3 does not know any better :P
quicksave.ess is generated at the cache location when the cache is enabled.

util.bsd will not spawn if you have any updates installed. you need to remove updates and then it will spawn. once its spawned, grab it with a file manager and then just reinstall the upadtes.

save game is corrupt has only ever happened when i quicksave on the ps3 and then quickload striaght after. I had a look at this issue and it turns out the save file only partially populates and it actually generates with a header version (07). so.....try not to port a quicksave accross, instead port over a proper pc save file but rename it to (NULL)QUICKSAVE.ESS for cache disabled or quicksave.ess for cahce enabled.
to know if your cache is disabled its in the SKYRIM.INI file. if you dont see the word cache....it is therefore disabled.

and of course apply the magic 7

    Thats right.

you only need the UTIL.BSD if you are porting to the PC

you only need the QUICKSAVE.ESS if you are porting PS3

    that simple

so if you playing with the latest patch and dont need to port back.......just load up the quicksave.ess then SAVE using the ps3 save function. then you dont need either

    you mean something like............

Just a little reminder about some of object related console commands.
markfordelete : click on an object you want to remove, leave/enter or save/load an area to delete the marked object
placeatme [object-id] : while in console click an item and it will place item [object-id] next to it
player.placeatme [object-id] : places item [object-id] at your feet, facing front
twf : toggle wireframe view to view problems with objects
tcl : in this context you can use no clipping mode to place objects at walls or in air.
    Positioning

Note: [axis] resembles the x,y,z axis for 3d positioning.
getpos [axis] : returns the position in axis value of the selected object – getpos x
setpos [axis] [value] = sets the position of the selected object – setpos z 200
getangle [axis] = returns the angle of the selected object – getangle y
setangle [axis] [value] = sets the angle of the selected object – setangle x 45
rotate [axis] [value] = rotates the selected object manually – rotate x 45

.....yes i did know about that. You can even put a forge in your house, if you really wanted to

also, did you know there are 3 items in those containers that should not be added to your inventory at the start of a game, because they initiate quests. Ill give you a hint

    Ye, exactly
I didnt think the new objects would be stored in the save.
You can also do things like setscale or setrace to NPCs

when people ask you to put all weapons in their save, might aswell just drop the chest in one of the houses
