SKYRIM PS3 to PC / PC to PS3 Conversion

oh ok now i get it, most of the mods i tried were new and probably were 1.8
so how do i check my ps3 skyrim's version
can i update it to 1.8 or something lol

Until the update comes out for PS3.....still holding our breath.....the most up to date is 1.6.89

Hi

Can someone help me with this please I want to convert my Skyrim PS3 save to PC to continue playing on PC. I have a CFW PS3 on CFW Rogero 4.30 - I have a Skyrim autosave from a different PS3 which I transferred to the ps3 with CFW via PS3 plus cloud save service and when I boot Skyrim backup on multiman the save is visible and works. I followed instructions - let it load to 100% then pressed ps button on load completed msg - then quit game, went back into multiman file manager navigated to “dev_hdd0/game/BLES01329CACHE" but there is no PS3_GAME dir in there only USDIR directory, ICON.PNG, PARAM.SFO and PIC 1.PNG - there is no “Util.bsd”

I have also tried creating a new save that was not an auto save - repeatnig the process but there is still no “Util.bsd”

I did allow Skyrin to update to the latest ver when I first booted it on my CFW ps3 if this makes a difference?

Any help would be appreciated as I am deperite to switch to the PC version.

that is one of two things

1. did you delete the update???? you can only do the conversion from the bare disc.

2. what bare disc update have you got? all the new discs being released from sony have the 1.2.1 update on them, but only the 1.0.5.0 is supported for the conversion.

lol after i installed it, when i tried to load my save it said it was made in a later version

did you edit skyrim on the pc???

if you did, version 1.8 is not supported as of yet. Im guessing that is the issue.

what did you do to the save file, from the start to the end.....
eg. copied from ps3 to pc, edit, move back, update etc

the save i was using was from pc, it worked when i put it on ps3 using ur method
then after installing the 1.6 update you just gave me
it said save is made on a later version
but isnt 1.6 the highest on ps3 ? :s

next year sometime, the SONY will release the 1.8 update for ps3. at the moment it simply does not exist lol
