Jesus christ, Tax payer dollars going to locking up people for EXTREMELY small amounts of weed? I hate this country.
Just legalize and tax the shit already. Then the people will be happy, and most of all the government will be happy as they can tax it just as much as Alcohol or Tobacco or hell even more then those.
Oh that's right, they never will. Why? Because for some stupid ass reason they think Industrial grade hemp is the same as weed and we all know How awesome industrial hemp is. It completely replaces Oil and even current cares can run off of it. Therefore it basically destroys the entire OIL industry and everything associated to it by proxy. (most of our products including computers, clothes, etc have some type of oil in it. Even if just a tiny bit.)

sounds weird, regular checkpoints, Department of Homeland Security... was this really in the U.S? sounds more like a invaded country or some kind of strange policestate in a sci-fi movie.
