No I haven't actually, but it's still a POC anyway, especially with the battery dying quicker than Bowser kidnapping Princess Peach/Toadstool!

Lol. I overclocked my S2 to 1.6ghz when I first rooted it. Killed the battery in a couple of hours, so changed it back to 1.2.

I didn't really notice much of a difference TBH.
Try a different launcher as they can be very resource hungry and also try doing a factory reset

I have the original Desire bought in Bangkok, I haven't tweaked anything except rooting it and installing unofficial gingerbread. Now it's a good phone but I have most things turned off, the battery is completely shit.

on my "rooted" tab I'm using Nova Launcher no overclocking seems faster than before with less battery drain



edit: firefox beta also seems to be the browser that uses the least amount of resources
