Thing that pissed me off, was people that complained and carried on about the people that switched to DEX and switched back to CEX and bricked, calling them newbs ands us stupid for switching back, saying thats what we get, that there was no reason to...

now that duplex released the eboots, I am seeing more and more posts about " HELP ME I bricked!1! " to bad those fuckers don't have people calling them noobs and dumbasses. And they are using the recovery process that was figured out by the noobs and Dumbasses that bricked earlier.

Karma bitches , I am just sorry that we dumbasses made it easier for the cocky bastards.

agree, out of it i have learned to unbrick, cex2dex, dex2cex...... all with help from one or another here. No condescending attitude.

it's those twats that post on forums that have not actually done it (to scared shitless cause they are pussies) yet proclaiming they know it all.

To many no it alls on the internet enuff said.

i got major respect for deank & others for coming in here and sharing there knowledge and if us "noobs" have to brick now again it is not much pain. Just think how many times devs have had to unbrick to make the process for us that much easier.

    /rant over :P

Dismantling a PS3 (DualShock 3) controller - how fucking hard is it just to disassemble it? It has fucking made my thumb numb!

Thats nasty and also something I need to do, still have a brand new ds3 with a stuck square button. Anyway, you should try a wii without the correct tools. I dismantled mine with a triangle shaped file which snapped at the last 2 screws.

That (well, your disassembly nightmare and mine) reminds me of how hand-cripplingly difficult and mind-fuckingly frustrating console component disassembly is as a whole, and most of those attempts were a catastrophic failure, with the only notable successes during my console component/hardware repairing time are me fixing up my Sega Mega Drive controller by swapping out the worn out rubber button pads with the rubber keys from a broken calculator I had, and replacing the Joytech PS2 gamepad internal rubber button pads using my former mate's PSone controller I borrowed, only to fuck up that PSone controller and giving it back to him a few days later!

Back on to the PS3 gamepad, I just decided to screw it back in even though I couldn't open it!

PS: That said former mate of mine is a bellend, so I didn't really give that much of a fuck anyway at the time!

PPS: That said bellend is the one who sold me the hardware-modified PS2 that only lasted a year with a worn-out DualShock 2 pad with a stiff left thumbstick at purchase and a frayed Joytech PS2 gamepad, in which I had to tuck the wire in further the moment I bought it back in 2008/2009, but that console and I had some good times together, and that's when I used SNES Station, PGEN, PSMS, FCE Ultra, and jennys' favourite application of all time: ULAUNCHELF!

I am usually a very cool headed guy, but the other day some(one?/body?) stole my niece's Wii, games controllers, accessories. Punks! And to top all of that off, I had just hacked it and had given her an old 500gb hard drive I had, which got robbed, too; and she was staying at a friends house, so she wasn't going to be able to play it until the next day. So when she gets back, gone expecting to try her hacked console out for the first time... GONE!

Hell, I am more upset than her it seems. Who steals from a f***ing kid!!! I think I might have to step up and try to show her it is not okay for people that are invited into your house steal from you. I am planning on getting to the bottom of this soon.

EDIT: Thought I'd share this, too; this guys knew what should piss you off I have to get some of his movie before the government bans then
