I regret throwing out my CRT tv set, 68cm, had component and vga. Though my sega saturn looks ok on the hdtv through scart to component, all my other old consoles look like shit. I want to play my 3d0 but the screen looks like a cosby sweater

Tried to play Gran Tourismo (yeah, the first one), several times and I keep running off the road 'cause I can't tell which pixels represent 'road' and which represent 'not road'!
But by far my greatest annoyance re these new 'big screen TV's' is that I can no longer play any Rockband or similar game because of the video lag. Yes, I've tried re-calibrating but it's just not the same.
