What did you read that right? -- RPCS3: PS3 Emulator for PC --- Well at this stage in the project R20 has been released and currently it more like a fancy dis-assembler along with almost working ELF Complier -- But it is neat to see the community working together to produce another useful open-source tool for developers!

rpcs3:
- implemented ELF compiler (Asm, only for test).
interpreter:
- Fixed ADDI opcode.
SysCalls:
- fixed FileSystem syscalls..
R19
DisAsm:
- Fixed dump code.
interpreter:
- Founded and emulated more instructions.
- Fixed sc value..
R16
interpreter:
- Emulated more instructions.
ElfLoader:
- Fixed SetPc value..
R15
rpcs3:
- fixed compilation bugs for debug mode
memory:
- fixed read/write 16/32/64/128
- implemented fast read/write.
R14
rpcs3:
- emulated some file system SysCalls
- rewrote MThread mode (now use pthread 2.8.0)
- rewrote memory manager
- rewrote save (ini) manager
- main and Log frames now save current position and size
- added more opcodes
- fixed crash if Log/DisAsm/Memory Viewer frame is closed
- implemented OGL video mode
DisAsm:
- implemented MT dumping.
It is looking good so far, as always we will be following this project as it develops more right here on PS3Crunch!

i'm a noob in a way, been following/reading since the original jailbreak, but i'm not an idiot noob who asks idiotic questions. i'm actually trying to learn how to do this stuff by watching what goes on.
Ooh cool does this mean i can play my download of Demon souls from teh interwebs, cuase i'm to cheap to buyz a ps4
Edit: Anyways it will be really interesting to see what happens with this project. it will be a good long while before you could use this for retail games or back-ups. Until then as they work on it it will become a great platform for testing homebrew!!!
