It freaked me out. Soon as she said it, I just got up and moved across the room (it was the first day of class). She was actually very attractive, but the comment threw me off. I kinda feel bad about responding the way I did. I would have been embarrassed if someone had done the same to me. :/

You should've talked to her for a bit if you had a chance, but it is one of those unexpected/freaky things.

Also, I would've freaked out a bit too as I am also not that comfortable when it comes with dealing with the opposite gender, so you're not the only one.
