I received two true blue from china but they do not work (only steady red light). I have used True Blue in the past so I know how it works.
It is not recognized by True Blue updater either

It looks like a real TB to me
What firmware are you using? You need to be on TB-V2 as the dongles now ship with 2.51 already flashed. Thats also why its unrecognised by the updater.

I opened because I needed to know if its real or not. Its not so easy to replace from suppliers in China, would be much easier if I can prove that its a fake. And its hard to believe that neither of TB works. Normally I would expect 1/10 that don't.

Try the dongle on another PS3 and check another dongle in ur PS3.. Maybe the problem from the PS3 not TB dongle
