Good stuff! I use most of Pete's compiled emu's. It's good to see he controls that section now.
One question for Pete that might have been answered: Have you tried to compile RoboHobo's lastest PSMame? I heard some "out of memory" games now work on it..
Yep, I have been trying to compile it for the last few months. I can get it to compile fine, but it just returns to the XMB when run on the PS3.
There is a port of MESS inside the PSMAME source
That's awesome mess is in there now. It sucks that it's not working after building.
I wish Robo and TwinAphex were still around.. We need a better Mame emu for Ps3,
and Skulltag went open source three months ago.. Imagine some 32 player lan battles
with some of those HQ wads..

Twinaphex is still around He's just concentrating on RetroArch at the moment.
The main problem with PSMame is the build process is not documented anywhere and it has been trial and error to get as far as I have.
I'm pretty sure the problem is getting the correct versions of the required libraries
I have tried contacting Robo before, but never got a reply

...and with that said, I wouldn't be surprised if Robo Hobo has gone AWOL and left the scene.
As for Twinaphex, aka Squarepusher, he's registered here, BUT like pete_uk said, his main focus is now on emulator development AND as well as that, he doesn't tend to communicate on the PS3 scene-themed forums
nowadays (as often as before, if at all).
