Hi guys, I just installed the True Blue firmware in my ps3. My question is should I always have the dongle connected even if I just play my old 3.55 games? Or should the dongle be always connected no matter what games I play? Thanks guys.
No you don't need to do any of that. If you have TB CFW with the latest 2.7 update you can play your old 3.55 and (below) games fine.
The ONLY time you need to switch firmwares if you had like a cobra dongle to use that cobra firmware. Regardless TB firmware acts like Kmeaw firmware anyway with the exception of playing the latest 3.60+games.

He wanted to know if he could play the old games on TB CFW while the dongle is out... the answer is no
TB cfw does NOT act as kmeaw with the dongle out either, as I said before backup managers will not run-- thats not a characteristic of kmeaw
