need tutorial for reactPSN

No you cant access PSN with jailbreak, this allows you to use DLC, PSN games etc that you previously downloaded from PSN or some other source to work on jailbreak without PSN.

Already suspected that hahahahaa.

mines said Unknown CFW as well, but DLC still appears (checked Black Ops maps)

but mine stuff also dont work weird also do others also have the the 80028C0B error pop up and does there stuff also works
then maybe i am looking at the wrong error that doesnt make mine stuff work

about the unkown CFW error i read somewhere by blackdeath how had uses an patched vhs file and got the same message
he run reactpsn again with start reactpsn + hold r1 for six seconds and that fix the problem

Ok figured it out (will add to tutorial) run reactPSN with usb HD back in right ps3 port holding R1 until it reboots w/ dongle out. turn off ps3 put dongle back in run reactPSN again w/o doing anything.

Yeah I thought about reinstalling reactPSN w/o dongle first. Also so he didnt reinstall reactPSN he just held r1, that creates the reactPSN folder, will it just overwrite everything in that folder or resync and not overwrite, not that big a deal since i only have 2 DLC's so far.

I'm having a heck of a time getting ReActPSN working at all on my original 20GB PHAT system.

I'm on TBv2 CFW with dongle fw v2.51. I had multiple accounts that were on PSN on day 1 (Nov 2006) and the system went to Kmeaw 3.55 then TBv2, so I should have a proper ACT.DAT file. I also had purchased four PSN games through the years that are still installed on the internal HD (its upgraded from original 20GB to 750GB). These purchased PSN games include High Stakes, Calling All Cars, Joust and flOw.

On the root of my external USB drive (2TB) I created the 'exdata' and placed all new .edat and .rap files for the new PSN games and DLC I'm trying to install. I have the Rebug 4.00 spoofer and ReActPSN v2.00 on the root of the drive and both of these packages installed just fine. I shut down, removed the dongle then started back up. Running the 4.00 spoofer caused no problems, either installing or activating (with reboots after each).

Here's where my problem starts, however. Running ReActPSN with the external HD in the rightmost USB slot and holding down R1, the 'reActPSN' folder gets created just fine, however the 'pubPSN/exdata' folder is empty... no .edat or .rap files for my existing purchased PSN games. Whats more, ReActPSN now says in its label:

"reActPSN 2.00
Unknown CFW!"

If I continue to follow the instructions from this point on anyway, when I eventually try to run any new PSN content they come back with:

"An error occurred during the start operation.
(80010017)"

I have tried re-flashing OFW 3.55 then TBv2 again and repeating the procedure... same thing happens with ReActPSN - 'Unknown CFW!'. No matter what I try I can't get it to recognize my TBv2 firmware (even as Kmeaw with dongle removed).

I had also tried the custom vsh method using the self-patcher instead of using the 4.00 spoofer... exact same results with 'Unknown CFW!' from ReActPSN, either v2.00 or v2.20. I re-flashed OFW 3.55 then TBv2 CFW after that attempt just to make sure all was clean.

At my wits end here, trying to get it installed. Anybody have any PHATs they've gotten ReActPSN working on? Any help of any kind would be greatly appreciated.

I'm going to try this later with the From Ashes DLC for Mass Effect 3. Has anyone else gotten this DLC to work?

No if on 2.61 it comes with a 4.11 spoofer, if you have both it will semi-brick your dongle. Uninstall the rebug spoofer through the app itself not triangle delete.

I don't know why its not working for you.

are you putting raps into the edata folder that is for the DLC or PSN game you are trying to activate? and are you activating the new raps in that folder by running react? ( Just run it and don't push no buttons, no R1 or anything. just wait. )

I'M ON 2.61 TB
I FOLLOWED THESE STEPS
1- create a folder called exdata On the root of USB Thumb Stick
2-install the reActPSN v2.0 pkg
3- Turn off PS3 and make sure that the True Blue Dongle is removed, Turn on PS3.
4-Run ReActPSN and hold R1 during the restart process
5-Check to see reactPSN folder was created on USB STICK
6- the exdata folder in pubPSN (is empty as no previous psn ) to the exdata folder you created on the root of your USB drive.
7-Create a new user account on the PS3 called aa
8-Run reActPSN again *do not push anything this time (it will rename user "aa" to reActPSN v2.0 xrif xedat)
9- When it's finished your PS3 console will automatically restart again
10-You'll notice aa has been renamed to something reActPSN v2.0 xrif xedat. Thats it done.
11- rename that accont to aa
12- put the rap file into exdata folder on the root of USB Thumb stick
13-Run reActPSN v2.0 (app) again system restart
14- log in with reactpsn v2.0 account
15- install the pkg
16- shut sown ,put true blue, start ps3
17- log in with reactpsn account
18 - put batman arkham city BR

19-I FOUND NO DLC

I HAVE THE BLUS DLC PACK WHICH IS THE SAME AS THE BR
SO WHAT IS THE PROBLEM HERE
