And now I am stumped, for some reason I can't get PS3 to sign in with latest bag of tricks, wondering here if I am really missing something here, or just being stupid and over looking some particular bit that I must do before. Running on rebug fw /w update 0.7 installed, so version shows 4.11, but when trying to sign to psn, all I get is error 80710A06, so its a no go for me. Is charles needed still in addition for these or will just straight connection from wired router work? I tried plenty of stuff that I though might be of issue, but no go. (even fetching time to update system date and time from internet gives the same error). Any help is appreciated or hints even where I am taking the wrong turn if any.
I think you need to change your password on your PSN. Remember sony made it mandatory to change your password after the hack, and I think that error you are getting is because you didn't change it. Try re-creating an account if you forgot your password (on a new user account on the ps3 - it won't transfer your saves though) or yeah, change your password if you know it.

Yes, alot of people have their account in 'DEAD' state because of the original 'hack' and also that Sony made it mandatory that you accept the new TERMS OF SERVICE, and if you have errors, it is best to login on your PC by going to Sony's website and after login it will send you an email and after you confirm it, and then accept the new TOS all the while doing this on the PC via Sony's website and then finally you should be able to access it with no problems on your PS3.
Are you worried about your 'data freedom' rights, like Prism and NSA and want to be 'secure' online, and access what you want where you want?
Then signup now with our sponsor VPN4ALL and 'protect' yourself online, and don't forgot if you tried of searching the 'net for stuff, then grabbing an UsenetBucket account is the only way to go with unlimited downloads, fast speeds, uncensored servers, and low pay-per-month rates, and at the same time by signing-up with either of our sponsors you end up supporting our wonderful group of scene news sites that you enjoy reading daily!

Sucks you have to accept their PoS ToS though. That's a no go for me, especially since access probably won't last for long. I'd rather not sell my soul to the devil for a week of online play.
Got it sorted, thank you all for helps. What I had as wrong setting was the np environment in debug settings; was reading invalid rather than NP for retail PSN network. Syncing trophies now, and then to dl all past shoppings again to PS3. Thank you for helping hand once more.

Does it say they can perform 'silent updates' on the Ps3 while online using their service written in the TOS? Like Xbox did with their sneaky Dae.bin update.
Modified password, accepted new TOS, downgraded to 2.51,
spoofed, signed in, synched a ton and half of trophies (since jb3.41...),
signed out, uninstalled, back to 2.7 and not a single problem.
Hook up console to an old tv, when the tos comes up, cross out the words you don't like with washable marker, initial the changes, take a picture, and click accept (then clean your screen off).

The whole ToS acceptance is a joke and here why. (for PSN and FW)
1.) can NEVER be proved you were the one who accepted.. (BIG ISSUE)
2.) Gaming systems are used by many people who are under the age of 18. Which if you are under the age of 18 you cant enter in any contractual agreement, or FORCE them into one (Another Big ISSUE)
3.) Say a minor accepted the terms. Then sony looked @ the hard drive, or things plugged in to the PS3 or did things that can only be done by accepting the terms, Then Sony are the ones breaking the law because a minor cant accept those terms. Which gave the consent to do those things.
4.) When you purchased the hardware (console or games) There is no warning on the packaging that you must agree to certain terms and/or give up rights, in order to use the merchandise you bought. Big issues there especially when most places will not let you return a game that has been open. (for cash returns)
5.) If you sell a ps3 or buy a used on. The terms have already been accepted by someone else.(on FW upgrades) So say your on 4.11 and you had your ps3 since 3.15 (or any FW) You have to agree/give up rights.. Where as that person who bought them used did not.. So the rules and agreements are in no way evenly applied.(Another BIG ISSUE) With that said they would all be void contracts.. As you cant setup up a public device or a public service and pick and choose who would be required to accept certain ToS.
What if someone is using someone else's PSN.. Im sure alot of system that where bought used especially from a friend.. A friend allowed them the use of their psn account..
I could keep going on with a few more point but i think people understand these are in no way a legal binding contract. Because of the way they are presented..
See alot of doubt and when you enter a contract there CAN BE NO DOUBT for it to hold up.. that's why verbal contracts don't hold up without multiple witnesses.. And why a written contract is cut and dry... This is more like a verbal contract then a written signed contract.
They would have to fix many issues for these to be Legal contracts that hold up. As of now i don't believe they are legal contracts, because of the above and many other points that i havent even discussed.

So I have a question I have one PS3 with OFW for online play and another PS3 with True Blue what happens when this ends.Like will they issue bans or just patch the exploit in general I just wanna synch my Trophies.
I ask cause I don't wanna catch a ban in case I ever update my cfw console or sell it.Also if they do drop ban hammers for getting on psn will it be a console ban or an IP address ban.I just t want to make sure when the party ends I can still access PSN on my other ofw console at least since I have a lot invested in content.
I just worry Sony out of spite will ban mac and ip addresses so noone in your house can acces PSN on any console.I guess I mainly want to know if they would issue bans for hacked consoles and will it be a console or a straight IP address type ban?
