I tried making a full backup formatting and doing this and it did not work.
I could back up my saves and try to import them to a different account but im afraid I will lose many saves due to copyright protection.
If there was a way to bypass the protection it'd be fine.
Don't almost EVERY game use copyright protection?
Seems you're error is different to the one I encountered a while ago. I tried getting the Uplay pasport for Driver just now and I got the 80029780 error. Even after trying the fix I suggested to you I still could not activate the to begin my install.

I deactivated my ps3 over psn to try and fix a problem now I have to wait 7 days.
My dlc also isn't working, which I didn't know would happen.
Anyone have any solutions? Plz this is a big deal to me none of my saves work now.

I got all old my DLC working by using an old act.dat but I think Sony is catching on because I deactivated my console to try and fix the error and now when I try to reactivate I get the 80029519 error there too.
Does ANYONE have ANY solution?
I've tried backing up reformatting and any and everything and nothing works.
The only thing I havent done is completely delete my account and start over.
