OK, this sort of thing begs the question:

Is there a new hack for current PS3 firmware?

Obviously, it's not an official SONY game release, and even the ability to recreate a game disc pressing does not obviate the need to sign the executables.

It might be interesting to tear into this thing and figure out how they are able to do this.

I'm with you. The game saves are encrypted. I don't think we can decrypt those on 4.11 without new keys. I maybe wrong.

When I saw the CD I thought, nice, signed game discs for 4.11.

But then I saw "1 GB USB Flash Drive pre-loaded with Game Genie Software"

this is just some software that mods the saves of games... probably a similar method to the eboot modding. Which finds certain hex strings and changes them to allow infinite lives and what not...

I expected that. It calls itself a save editor, not a cheat device. It still seems useful. I see save editors for xbox games and most of the time there isn't a ps3 version. It's basically ps3 power saves.
