well try downgrading to the 2.5.1 update. follow the same steps you did to try and update to 2.7 fw (even though you didnt successfully update) try downgrading to 2.5.1...... when you received your dongle is it one of the new ones with a sticker on the side to prevent tampering??? heres a quick question did you ever install a cfw prior to this TB CFW install and if you did , did you use a version spoofer? I found as long as i was using a version spoofer i could not properly update the to TB CFW and as long as TB was plugged into usb port it would not boot console. solution was to unplug TB from ps3 boot console, uninstall the version spoofer then install TB Cfw .

Yes I just found it in my coms HDD. Its 3.60_Version_Spoofer_v1.1

So what are you trying to do? See if your dongle will work on 2.51? If so you can have a spoofer on 2.51. But yeah you cant have this Spoofer on 2.7 as TB has its own spoofer and it will conflict. So uninstall the rebug spoofer from within the program itself. Stay on TB CFW v2 then update dongle to 2.7
If you're just trying 2.51 you can have the rebug spoofer installed because as of the 2.51 update True Blue didnt have a spoofer yet. This is also how you would get on PSN (But you'd install Rebugs Latest spoofer 4.11 instead)

Right now I'm installing a fresh 3.55 OFW. Then I will go to TB V2 and I will try to update my dongle. Let's see if this works or not.....
The rebug spoofer could of been the problem, so you uninstalled that right?
