but there is another problem

some games require updates,however there are two ways to bypass updating, either by blocking the game from updating using patch blocker or by changing the value of the version in PARAM.SFO file,

i'v used the second way to change the value of the version for cod black ops

after changing the value, the game stoped asking me to update, but when i want to play online, i get a message says" COD BO Server not available at this time, please try again later"

so, is the problem because of bypassing the updates, or it is something else?

if the problem because of bypassing the updates, is there anyway to update the game?

Not all games work online, most do need the modified files of the updates in order to fully function online. Black Ops doesnt work, neither do MW3 or Battlefield 3. Others like Fifa 12 do. Some games let you you start multiplayer option but you'll never be able to join an online game - like TC Ghost Recon Advance Warfighter 2, etc. Other games that require no update with keys higher than 3.55 work fine, like AC Brotherhood or Crysis 2. MW 2 has a cracked 1.13 update, allowing you to play it online

Thats the Patch for BLES00686, if your game ID is other than that ZOMBIEKILLAH over at PS3hax made Patches for other game IDs based on the E3teams patch: BLUS30377, BLES00683, BLES00684, BLUS30429, BLES00685, BLES00687, BLES00690, BLES00691, BLJM60191

MW2 works fine, but the problem is that you can only join cracked servers

also, everytime i join there must be a cheater, i can see his cheat in killcam!

Looks as though Sony patched all this so PSN is off limits with CFW so I hear, is this true?

Yep....

Does not work anymore for me and others on different boards...
Cfw and fckPSN is no go at the moment
