    CD-DA track is not supported in this release so the CD audio tracks in Sonic CD etc will not play at the mo.... but Eke-Eke is working on it

    CD Audio Track support is not the fault of the libretro port - Genesis Plus GX on the Wii doesn't have it right now either.

    So, whenever ekeeke puts that in his port - it will be in RetroArch.

    I've found a couple of problems:
    - RetroArch is just ignoring the startup rom directory. It is saved in x directory but it starts in the root (dev_hdd, dev_usb000,etc). It happens in every core.
    - I'm playing Castlevania Aria of Sorrow from GBA and it plays perfectly but it crashes when either:
    I hit an enemy and it's "die" animation has too much effects or i kill two enemies at the same time( medusa heads) although the last one seems too happen only in one location.
    I think that I'll have to post an issue in the github although...

    This was fixed earlier yesterday. I guess pete_uk didn't update the builds with this patch included before releasing them.

    Sounds like a serious bug. Post an issue about it on the VBA Next Issues page. If it happens in VBA mainline too then I think there isn't too much I could do other than make the VBA-M people aware of it.

    Oh, that's great, we'll just have to wait for pete to compile a newer build.
    For the second matter, I think that maybe it's VBA Next issue since in my normal playtrough was normal with no crashes at all, but i updated Retroarch and the issue appeared. I have already posted an issue but( If it helps) i can share a savestate right where one those "crash" enemies is at.
    And i forgot something:
    What crashes isn't the PS3 or Retroarch, but the game itself. What's strange is that the sound keeps running and the screen freezes.

    This didn't happen with the previous RetroArch VBA release? Good, I have something I can compare it to then.

    Post a savestate of where this happens so I can test.

    Can someone test this to see if it has fixed the "Default Rom Path" issue. It's a fresh compile from the RetroArch Git as it is right now.
    I'm at work so can't test it myself until tonight.

    If it resolves the problem, I will update the first post.
