I've been actually wanting to talk with you re: RetroArch and Multiman - seems I can't find you anymore on the #multiman channel on EFNet though.
You can find me on #retroarch at freenode.
Also, regarding the emulator cores - emu-ps3.c is not used for the libretro PS3 ports - the code dealing with 'exit back to Multiman' would be found in RetroArch's source directory (ps3/main.c, ps3/menu.c, and console/libretro_mgmt.c'). Perhaps I should just delete the standalone PS3 emu ports to reflect that I'm no longer supporting or developing these - everything goes through libretro now.

Perhaps it would be better to update anything you have with a note, letting people know those projects are over, and where they can find information on the current libretro system.

Well, it is really easy to test if everything works. multiMAN uses options.ini to define the executable paths to the emulators, so for a test one should redefine the paths in /dev_hdd0/game/BLES80608/USRDIR/options.ini :
same goes for other 4 supported emulators. I tested and ssnes accepts the rom, loads and plays the game, shows Return to multiMAN but quits to XMB. Other libretro cores don't accept the passed roms.

If you like multiMAN or multiAVCHD, support the development with a small donation. Click here.
Twinaphex, any chance fbalpha libretto-show names in the game selection menu retroarch? example: sfce (street fighter champion edition) that would be great! keep up the good work.
Now that Eke-Eke has released Genesis Plus GX 1.7.0 with Mega CD support for the Wii, will this be ported over to run on the PS3?
Of course. Just know that Genesis Plus GX right now doesn't have CD audio support for Mega CD games - ekeeke has said this will come in a later version. So a game like Sonic CD will have the audio CD tracks missing right now.
I have a little problem with this build, for some reason i canīt load my shader presets(ps3 locks down) but if i load the border presets of opium2k there is no problem. My controller presets load fine.
Someone had the same problem?
I tried with and without the TB dongle inserted.
pete_uk (and anybody else) has my permission (as if they needed it) to release builds of new cores for RetroArch PS3 - such as Genesis Plus GX 1.7.0 and/or the Mednafen PC Engine one - just make sure that it's actually working before you release a WIP one.
