thanks cookie, blackscreen issue was the old press and hold ps3 `on` button 2 beeps, reset hdmi, then as u suggested although i disabled `scan usb for content` was that what you mean by "verify - OFF".
well its working so im chuffed.
Thanx pete, I hallways check that tread too, but there's only a comment that it works external with disc, so I assume that it wont run discless, damn I got to fix my BD drive as Game of thrones and max payne wont start too... Always that 8001007 error...
LOL, I disassembled my BD drive and cleaned it up in hope it was dust, dunno why when I turned it on and put an original PS3 game inside it got stuck and wont come out, but blue light is on, still no luck, it wont show BD in xmb, but somehow, like magic, the game now runs flawless just like Max Payne, been playing booth for a while, as for game of thrones haven't tried yet...
There some weird stuff on my PS3 for sure as normal dvd or cd play fine, also ps2 games, I just have one lens and it plays regular discs, not BD"
