Not talking about the US version of Peace Walker. But the US version of MGS HD collection. If I get that, I should be able to get everything working as I should be able to convert my PSP save to US.
That is if the version difference is even the problem. I would think the game would at least see my PSP and say "can't find any compatible saves." There's no way in hell the programmers were that damn lazy that they would just make it to where the game would rather give an error that the PSP isn't even connected, if the issue is just region related. I mean how hard is it to code a few additional lines that gives an error message stating "ya we see your PSP, but guess what? Your PSP save does not match the region of MGS HD collection and thus cannot be used." Hell I guarantee I could code that myself.
So I'm not even sure if that is even the problem. IDK.
CLANDESTiNE is the US release. Ive seen the US MGS HD Collection on store shelves as well and have a copy.

Also beware I tried to get the CLANDESTiNE copy awhile back and it was corrupt, but I was also getting it from USENET and the retention on that game was like over 300 days or something so prolly just the server didnt have the files up anymore and was sending me bad data.
I never tried to get it again just saying that because the CLANDESTiNE rip could be bad but prolly not. ANTIDOTE is the EUR release.

Right, I tried the US version for both peace walker (save off of Gamefaqs) and the US version of Metal Gear Solid HD collection - IT STILL DOESN'T WORK! So I think the TB patch screws it up. Either that or I gotta test the cable. So later on today I'll try using another USB transfer cable I have. If that doesn't work, I'm fucked. The only other thing I can think of is to go back to OFW on my PSP. Which won't be hard to do. I believe there's a downgrader. So I'll just go back to 6.60 OFW, try it, and then go back to CFW.
If none of these work, then I have no idea what the problem is other then TB's patch. If all of these don't make it work it's definitely the patch that screws up the feature.
Hell I might as well just grab a save off of gamefaqs that has the main storyline complete and just do the challenge missions all over again. It would be easier then going through this shit.

If it turns out that the patch is a bad release, then surely the cracking group(s) responsible should hang their heads in shame, but I just hope that it IS NOT the EBOOT crack and that you can troubleshoot/sort out the problem.

Well the game works as far as I know. (played the first two level just to get a save built to be on the safe side.) All three MGS titles work. It's just the transferring feature that is giving me probs. :S. And turns out there isn't even a save file on gamefaqs. So I've literally got start the whole damn game over again if I can't get this to work. FML.

I've actually managed to find a save for MGS Peace Walker HD if your interested in it let me know I'll post it. It has basically everything unlocked.
