Metal Gear Solid HD collection won't allow me to Transfer To and From PSP.
Hey guys, for some reason when I try and connect my PSP to my PS3 to use the Transfar feature on MGS HD collection, it keeps saying "unable to connect to PSP" or something similar. I have no idea why. My PS3 does recognize my PSP under Photos, Music, and Video. But even looking at the save data section on the PS3 it won't show the PSP.
I've got a PSP 1000 series on 6.60 Pro-b10 firmware. My PS3 is on latest TrueBlue firmware, using the US eboot patch with a EU param edit.
Is there anyone that can help me? Do you think the version matters? Like I said I can't even get the game to see that my PSP is connected. I have NO idea what's wrong.
EDIT: Actually my PS3 does recognize the PSP on the XMB, including the save section. So just the game won't see the PSP.

The EBOOT patch region/game fileset mismatch might be an issue - try sorting that out.
Sorry I can't help you any further with that though as I don't have the game at all, but having said that, EBOOT mismatches are a common cause for gameplay-breaking issues, so hence the suggestion.

Alright cheers. I'll test that out. I'll report back later once I test it.

Could it be it checks to see if the psp has cfw. just an idea.
I am waiting for the vita version to come out and I will be testing that cross over.
No it doesn't check that. I saw several people do it on youtube that have CFW. So that shouldn't be an issue. I'm gonna mess around with it again tonight. I haven't been able to mess around with it for the last day or so because I've been busy with other things. So I'll report back tonight.
EDIT: Right I left the param.sfo alone (native EU version) and just used the TB patch. It still doesn't work. So now I guess I'll try converting it to the US version. That's the only thing I can think of. If that doesn't work, I have no idea what to do. I did notice that there's a 1.2 patch for the game. But I doubt that would effect it in anyway considering the patch has nothing to do with the transfarring function.
This is really pissing me off though. I waited so long to get the PS3 version and now I can't even continue my SAVE!
