So it seems that the production of TB has stopped. According to Lightake. And they will be releasing a new dongle for us to buy. I am sure people will buy it, or wait for E3 dongle. And The replacement could be E3 dongle and lightake just got confused.
or for those that have hope. maybe lightake is talking about the old version is done and now they are making the True blue with the foil genuine sticker on it. who knows. as information is non existent.
for the conspiracy theorist. Some now say that TB is E3. and now are quitting TB production to make people pay for e3.
Which I think is untrue, because they released those free eboots but didn't know they had to edit the sprx files too.
either way, if you got hope or a conspiracy theorist I would not count on any eboots for awhile.a long while. which sucks because there was some that came out recently that are actually good.

Yeah, Sad and weird that hax has breaking news on TB. But I am sure for some dongle haters their panties got wet after seeing it. This news is what some of them wanted from the start.

Hellsing9 made a front page story of it and now it is making it's way around the internet.
http://ps3drama.net will do anything more traffic, they are in it for clicks and ad money. -- A dongle hating story like that will easy bring in an extra $20 to $50 bucks for the day of trolling traffic, it is real news breaker *like PSN access*, you can hit as much as $150 for the day. -- Psx-Scene does $3K to $5k per month and that is with NO DRAMA.
I love the part about TB and E3 being the same, strange, since I have met both of them personally, and they look totally different, have different names, don't even speak the same langs. and have totally different marketing and plans, all tho both at been each other back trying to out do each other since the early PS2 days.
As for Lightake, I will try to contact Jerry and get a better answer, their one line is confusing and could be something lost in translation, English is not their main lang.
The TB Dongle has already been stopped three times over the last year in production, and restarted with a new design, no reason not say this will not be the same case also.
Rumors are just Rumors nothing more, there been no official word or nothing, all I personally know is couple people are on short summer vacation after the last batch of eboots and will be returning to their desks, refreshed and ready for action very soon.
As I will be posting some great E3 news later this week. Also there been alot of work behind the scenes from three different groups in bringing finally some action to the ones that can't downgrade or are stuck on non-jailbreak-able market. -- The market for 3.55 is growing smaller everyday.

Yeah I made a thread elsewhere, I thought this thread was still old so i didn't check it.
anyway.
this move is dumb, like patbat said, making a new dongle does not stop E3 dongle. Who cares about secruity at this point, they know how to do it, just not how to clone the device. so making a new dongle to isolate current customers is a dick move, because if I have to buy a new dongle I will buy E3 just because TB decided to make the current one obsolete for secruity sake.
however, if they do add Cobra fuctions, and allow old TB users to use their eboots.then fine. I will buy the new TB dongle.
or hell maybe the new TB dongle is called TB Pro and it lets you use TB eboots and E3 eboots. less wait time. we will just have to wait for them or gary to let us in on what they plan to do.

Like Gary said, Lightake could be confused like I said earlier and they could just mean a new revision is coming out. there is what like 3 or 4 version out now.
I never really believed they were the same since they didn't release the cracked sprx(sp) files with ther POC patches.TB are the veterans of this and know better.
