true blue error with max payne and a few others, please help

I have the latest true blue firmware and dongle update (lightake said it came with latest i think) and I can play rayman, arkham and a few others.

max payne 3, dragons dogma, and assassins creed revelations all give the following error message:

An error occured during the start operation
    8000100007

saint seiya senki just has a black screen

I am using a slighty outdated multiman version if that matters. anyone know why i am getting these errors? I applied the true blue eboot patches.

edit: i run games internally by the way

    thanks for the help!

Well make sure you in fact you have dongle update 2.7 in system information from XMB, assassins creed revelations should work regardless of this so perhaps a bad rip. If you are ripping from original disc, rip them with the dongle out first, then play them with dongle in.

PS That error code doesn't exist perhaps you meant 80010007 - An error occurred during the start operation

Hi Stevo and welcome to the forum,

Have you copied over all the files? And not just the EBOOT.BIN file?. example (Pararn.sfo, EBOOT.BIN, *.SPRX files)

Have you copied the files over to the correct directories?

Are you using a scene release?
    If so,
Are you sure you’re not trying the BLUS version with the BLES fix? Or vice versa

If this is the case then you DON’T copy over the Param.SFO file.) you leave the original pararm.sfo and Multiman will amend it accordingly, but you copy over all the other files which may include SPRX files.

    If Not:
You may have a corrupt rip, if you ripped it yourself – maybe try ripping it again?, maybe a bad laser?

Just a few ideas why it wouldnt work - hope this helps you diagnose your problem.

Yeah, bad rip prolly. Try a different scene rip or if ripped from original disc rip it again without dongle through multiman (multiman will give error on start, just ignore it) then restart ps3 with dongle try to play.

Get TB 2.7 dongle update here: http://www.ps3scenefiles.com/file.php?id=489 I assume you are on TB CFW v2 since some games work.

i did copy over all the files. i got the eboot patches with the releases so i think they are the right version. could be a bad upload though, i dont know.

i will update the tb firmware and then update multiman before i check another eboot patch or release.

    thanks for the help

edit: i am indeed on TB CFW v2
