Cfw issue and dongle downgrade

I'm using a usb hub because only one port is working on my ps3. I'm trying to go from TB CFW V2 to Kmeaw through recovery mode and when I plug my controller into the hub along with the memory stick, it doesn't pick up the controller.

Another issue is when I try to move the firmware on my dongle from 2.7 to 2.5, I keep getting the "unable to communicate with dongle" error even if I wait 20 secs after I plug it in.

Help would be appreciated, thanks in advance

Try to use the dongle update 2.51. If it does not help you with the new version of the dongle label protection (there is dongle factory firmware 2.7)

My dongle is about a month or so old and isn't the one one with new packaging, I've read that you need tb dongle fw 2.50 because of spoofer clash for psn purposes that's why I'm trying to downgrade

I know about it. But you have bought two revision dongle True Blue. And he has the factory firmware 2.51 (below the firmware will not install). But do not worry, firmware 2.51 is the same as 2.50, but it adds support for new revision of the dongle (which you have). So far, only been three revisions dongle True Blue. You can also enter the PSN with the latest firmware True Blue (2.7) by using f*ckPSN.
